The Social Responsibility Management of the Supply Chain and the Heterogeneous Behavior of the Enterprise Social Responsibility: An Empirical Study on the Manufacturing Firms Data in China

Abstract:Based on the study of 1000 more manufacturing firms from 12 cities in China by the Logit model and SUH method,ibis paper analyzes the impacts of the social responsibility management of the supply chain and the corporate heterogeneity on the enterprise social responsibility behavior.The result shows that the corporate heterogeneity factors and enterprise social responsibility awareness have positive relationship;while other conditions remain unchanged,the social responsibility management of the supply chain and the implementation of enterprise social responsibility have positive relationship;the government supervision improves the implementation of social responsibility such as the protection of workers' rights,the environmental management and the products quality;there is the group effects in terms of the social responsibility behavior in those enterprises that have joined the industry associations or commonweal organizations.
