Abstract:This paper illustrates the connotation and importance of ideological and political education applied in the English course of Chinese culture. In such an Information era, it is high time for teachers to integrate ideological and political education in their routine teaching and it is also essential to carry out teaching reform in terms of teaching ideology, teaching contents, holding up activities and applying teaching assessment. Abstract:Curriculum thinking and politics is an exploration of moral education reform and a strategic measure to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating people. High school is a key period for students to form correct values. In addition to ideological and political courses, other courses also need to play the function of educating people, and take courses as the carrier to provide value guidance to students in the process of knowledge imparting and ability training. High school biology is a fundamental course in natural sciences and an important carrier for cultivating students’ scientific literacy. However, through questionnaire surveys and interviews at internship schools, it was found that the infiltration of scientific spirit into high school biology teaching is not ideal. Teachers have insufficient understanding of ideological and political education in the curriculum, and they cannot fully tap into educational materials in textbooks. The methods for infiltrating scientific spirit are relatively single, making it difficult to balance ideological and political infiltration with knowledge teaching. This article selects the scientific spirit as an ideological and political element based on the needs of national development and the characteristics of the discipline, and permeates it into biology teaching. Finally, the teaching effectiveness is evaluated through various methods. The aim is to enrich the theoretical research of thinking and politics in senior biology curriculum, and to provide teaching reference for teachers to cultivate students’ scientific spirit in biology teaching. After conducting questionnaire surveys and interviews with students and teachers, the following conclusions were drawn: firstly, although the teachers and students of the school have a limited understanding of ideological and political education in the curriculum, most of them support the integration of ideological and political education into biology teaching. Secondly, some teachers still place more emphasis on imparting knowledge in their teaching and have not fully utilized the educational value of biology. The implementation of ideological and political education in biology teaching is not ideal. Thirdly, overall, the penetration of scientific spirit in biology teaching is not satisfactory and needs further strengthening. In summary, teachers need to strengthen their exploration of textbooks and deepen their understanding of teaching design in their daily teaching process, in order to continuously improve their ideological and political education for students and fully leverage the educational value of biology. Integrating scientific spirit into biology teaching is not only in line with the ideological and political concepts of the curriculum, but also in line with the core competencies of the discipline, which can better leverage the educational value of biology.

Abstract:The eighteenth National Congress of the CPC clearly put forward cultivation and practicing socialist core values which are the concentrated expression of spirits of China in modern times. With distinctive traits of instrumentalism and humanism, college English serves as a significant platform for socialist core values education for students. Based on the idea of ideo logical and political teaching in all courses and with the objective of fostering talents with political integrity and professional competence, this paper firstly introduces the basic concept of socialist core values and the importance of ideological and political education in universities. Then it analyzes the significance and necessities of integrating socialist core values education into college English course. In the fourth part, the paper deeply probes valid strategies to achieve the educational idea of “from course of ideological and political teaching to courses for ideological and political teaching” in college English teaching and learning from the perspectives of teachers’ improvement, scientific utilization and excavation of textbooks and innovation of teaching approaches and models. Finally, conclusions and reflections that need close attention are listed and discussed in the last part of this paper.

Abstract:When implementing the new project of the ideological and political course, the teachers of Tsinghua University study the new course deeply, construct the teaching system of the new course, get the transition from textbook system to teaching system, and publish some reference books and PPTs. At the same time, in light of the new situations and requirements, we promote the teaching reform and discover the diversiform teaching patterns. We practice the teaching model of the special subject widely, adopt seminar in the course of teaching, construct "the on-line Course" and "teach students in accordance with their aptitude", therefore, many courses have been rated the National Excellent Course. There are a lot of teachers, who have political integrity, excellent working ability and selfless devotion, and all of them do really well in the teaching. Abstract:With the rapid development of global information technology and the continuous deepening of the new educational philosophy of College English majors, College English teaching is no longer limited to helping students lay a solid foundation in English language, but also to cultivate students’ cross-cultural awareness, cultural identity, and national pride. College teachers should fully integrate China’s excellent traditional culture, integrate “curriculum ideological and political education” into practical teaching to enhance students’ cultural confidence, and promote China’s excellent traditional cultural ideas[1]. “Integrated English” as a core professional course shoulders the dual mission of language learning and cultural exchange. The long-standing Chinese culture provides a rich source for the ideological and political courses of College English majors. This article, from the perspective of cultural confidence, combines the current situation of English major teaching in university education, analyzes the significance of developing ideological and political courses for College English majors from the perspective of cultural confidence, and explores effective ways to implement ideological and political education for College English majors from the perspective of cultural confidence. The author takes the course Contemporary College English Intensive Reading 1 as an example, explores the ideological and political elements in the textbook from the perspective of cultural confidence, designs a teaching outline that combines teaching objectives and ideological and political objectives, and explores the practical path of implementing the function of ideological and political education in College English teaching.

Abstract:Cultivating morality and nurturing talents is an important task of educational work, and the proposal of curriculum ideology and politics has laid a solid foundation for universities to implement the education of cultivating morality and nurturing talents. Ideological and political education in the curriculum, as an important tool for cultivating moral character, utilizes the main channel of classroom teaching to disseminate content related to ideological and political education and promote the development of correct core socialist values and good character in students. Integrating ideological and political elements into English courses requires students to consider multiple factors, explore ideological and political elements, and choose appropriate teaching methods. At present, the integration of ideological and political elements into college English courses is still in the exploratory stage. This article conducts a comprehensive analysis and research on the connotation of ideological and political elements in courses, and the difficulties, causes, and significance of integrating them into English courses. Lastly, practical and feasible teaching strategies are proposed, hoping to provide guidance for frontline teachers and promote students’ comprehensive development.

Abstract:The study of ideological and political courses can not only stimulate the research of academic theories, but also provide scientific theories for the current economic and social development. There are many ideological elements in the course of digital logic circuit, but as a professional course, the content of the course is difficult, with more homework, but less class time.
