Effect of Yizhijiannao-granule on expression of hippocampus proteomics in senescence accelerated mouse-8

Abstract:Objective To explore the remedial effect of Yizhijiannao-granule's probable mechanism on Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods 6-month-old SAMP8 rats(n=20)were randomly divided into treated group(n=10)and control group(n=10).Rats in treated group were treated with Yizhijiannao-granule and those in control group treated with double distilled water.Eight weeks later,total protein in hippocampus tissue were separated and identified.Results 13 Differentially expressed protein spots which were more than two folds were identified,of which 8 protein spots were up-regulated and five protein spots were down-regulated.Conclusions Multiple hippocampus protein spots of SAMP8 mice can be regulated by Yizhijiannao-granule,showing Yizhijiannao-granule has a multi-target remedial mechanism of AD.
