Abstract:Under the background that the urban space is changing from "incremental development" to "tapping the potential of stock", the transformation of old urban residential areas is of great significance to promote the improvement of urban quality. As an important part of shaping the public environment in residential areas, the planning and design standards of residential areas only put forward the requirements of area control, and lack the specific criteria of various design elements. Aiming at the typical problems existing in the outdoor activity space of the old residential areas, such as unreasonable layout, lack of total amount, unclear classification and insufficient attraction, a planning and design framework for improving the outdoor activity space quality of the old residential areas are constructed from four dimensions of space layout, space scale and quantity, space hierarchical and function and space attraction, and a total of nine indicators. Quantitative analysis methods such as space syntax and image recognition are introduced. Taking the planning scheme of the old residential area in the south of Wangma community in the central district of Hangzhou as an example, we discuss the rationality of its planning by using the framework, we also analyze the existing problems and put forward optimization suggestions, so as to provide theoretical guidance and planning practice reference for other old residential areas to build high-quality outdoor activity space.

Abstract:Pocket parks are small in size and flexible in function. In the process of urbanization development in China, the number of pocket parks has gradually increased, but from the current point o f view, there are many problems in the construction of pocket parks in China . This study conducts a detailed investigation on the plants, sports facilities and roads of the pocket park by adopting the method of on-site investigation of the pocket park. It was found that pocket parks currently have problems such as functional limitations and insufficient ecological design. Therefore, a strategy is proposed to refine the infrastructure of pocket parks and enhance the interactivity of the landscape, so as to promote the high-quality development of pocket parks.

Abstract:Abstract One of the most important functions taken by a Urban ecological park is to protect and improve the urban environment, which is the green space of the city. Integrating ecology and humanity into the park makes the park have the dual significance of protecting the ecological environment and inheriting the history and culture. From the macro and micro perspectives, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the base, explores the regional culture, takes ecology as an important attribute, and designs the park with nine provincial thoroughfares as the theme culture, so as to realize the design goal of “integrating humanity into ecology, building landscape context” and promote the green development of human and nature.

Abstract:Abstract: An urban cultural park is a symbol of regional urban culture, and it also reflects the accumulation of human culture. It can become an important way to inherit regional historical and cultural heritage and promote the excellent traditional Chinese cultural spirit. The cultural role, played by the cultural parks, is, however, rather unsatisfactory and remains to be improved. It is extremely important to solve these problems and promote the design of urban cultural parks to better showcase their cultural ideas and meet the needs of cultural dissemination and development. Therefore, this article introduced mountain factors and analyzed the symbolic significance of mountain factors in the design of urban cultural parks. This research attempted to interpret the ideas, contained in modern urban cultural parks, from the perspectives of urban cultural parks and mountain factors, and elaborated on the design strategies, expression methods, expression techniques and exchange of ideas of urban cultural parks. Research has found that introducing mountain factors into the design of cultural parks can make them more aesthetically pleasing, with more complex shapes, and better highlight the theme ideas for regional cultural interpretation and expression. This research provides more design schemes and elements for the design of urban cultural parks by studying mountain factors, enriching the ideological meaning and expression of urban cultural parks, helping to promote the inheritance and development of culture, and providing more theoretical basis for landscape design.

This paper investigates the current situation of urban park design, analyzes the shortcomings, and puts forward the application method of Lingnan regional culture in urban park landscape design. Studies in the History of Gardens & Designed Landscapes

Abstract:Fangta Park in Shanghai is a widely admired Chinese modern park and a representative work by Professor Feng Jizhong. A literature review is first used to explain the construction process of Fangta Park, its design philosophy, master plan, and detailed design, followed by an analysis of the park's design. Previous studies have shown how Feng Jizhong 'deconstructed' Western architectural forms using traditional Chinese space concepts, thus generating novel Chinese architectural forms underpinned by Western construction concepts. He adapted rhetorical devices of Chinese traditional poetry and used them in the spatial arrangement and landscape design of Fangta Park, a modern landscape and architectural masterpiece with distinctive Chinese characteristics. Feng Jizhong promoted blending Chinese culture with modern landscape design and illustrated the process of 'space-time transformation' with 'conative space'. Through the design of Fangta Park, he exhibited his individuality and profound scholarship, charting a unique course for modern landscape architecture in China.

Abstract:The design of barrier-free facilities is an important part of paying attention to the disadvantaged groups in urban park green space, and it is the concrete embodiment of whether the whole park landscape design follows the general design principle of "creating fair use". By investigating the status quo of accessibility facilities in 11 parks and green Spaces in Huicheng District of Huizhou City, according to the types of facilities and the characteristics of users, the problems in accessibility design are proposed by combining quantitative analysis with subjective analysis. Based on the concept of micro update and upgrading strategy is put forward, which meet the demand of vulnerable groups create the public landscape space of fair use, To explore new ways to improve the green space quality of Huizhou urban parks in the future.

Abstract:Abstract: In general, every sports park in the urban space environment is a collection of cultural essence of a city and a region, which reflects the cultural imprint of the historical era, is the cultural fusion substance of a specific period, and has distinctive characteristics and cultural context that distinguish itself from other regions. Sports parks not only witness the history, but also foresee the future. The rebirth of sports parks is mainly carried out in the two dimensions of protection and innovation. It is necessary to take its essence, eliminate its dross, develop in protection, and innovate in development. Methods: GIS, bibliometrics, knowledge atlas, human factors and efficacy and other tools were introduced into the research of sports park design based on the theory of urban double training to enhance the scientific, persuasive and logical nature of sports park design. Conclusion: The research on the design of sports parks based on the theory of urban double repair is guided by the specific content and requirements of urban double repair, and properly handles the relationship between the past and the present, the present and the future with appropriate scale and scale. It achieves the integrity of the development of each piece of land and each piece of urban area through urban organic renewal, and achieves the organic unity of sports parks and the city as a whole, to realize the improvement of urban planning quality and the sustainability of urban renewal, and finally move towards a new organic order.

Abstract:Abstract In recent years, with the rapid development of human civilization, a variety of environmental problems have emerged. As the most important natural ecological system of terrestrial ecosystems, forest ecosystem plays a significant role in protecting the environment and beautifying cities. The landscape planning and design of botanical gardens is of great significance to the maintenance of the urban forest ecosystem. Taking the Nanshan botanical garden as the research object, this paper analysed the present situation of the garden and carried out the vegetation landscape planning transformation on it from the perspective of landscape ecology. Then, the landscape hierarchy analysis method was used to evaluate the landscape after the transformation, the results of which suggested that the comprehensive evaluation of the garden was the highest when the plant landscape was diversified and the structure level was reasonable, which provided a reference for the optimization of the urban forest ecosystem.

Abstract:Urban parks play a crucial role in providing social services and promoting the health and well-being of residents. They serve not only as primary aesthetic spaces for urban residents but also as crucial venues for recreational activities. Exploring strategies for constructing urban parks that integrate landscape aesthetics and recreational value is essential. This approach will contribute to enhancing the quality of urban parks to meet the genuine needs of urban residents. However, there is currently limited attention given to related research. Based on this, the study focuses on Jinshan Park in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China, to investigate the relationship between landscape features and the coexistence of landscape aesthetics and recreation values of urban parks. The research employed field observations and questionnaire surveys to assess the landscape aesthetic and recreational values of urban parks and explore their coexistence. Additionally, semantic segmentation and other methods were introduced to quantify landscape features. Linear regression analysis was then applied to further examine the impact of landscape features on the landscape aesthetic and recreational values in urban parks, as well as their coexistence. The results revealed: (1) The landscape aesthetics of Jinshan Park is moderate, and the pattern of recreational activities in the park follows a sequence of passing‐by behaviors > static behaviors > dynamic behaviors, with the primary user demographic being middle-aged and elderly individuals. The coexistence of landscape aesthetics and recreational values in Jinshan Park needs to be improved. In comparison, the degree of coexistence between aesthetics and passing‐by behavior is relatively high. (2) The landscape aesthetics of urban parks are influenced by natural elements, with green view index playing a more crucial role. Recreational behaviors are jointly influenced by spatial, natural, construction, and facility elements. Concerning different types of behaviors, spatial elements have a significant impact on public static and dynamic behaviors, followed by natural elements and facility elements. Passing‐by behaviors are most influenced by construction elements, followed by spatial elements and facility elements. (3) The coexistence of landscape aesthetics and static behavior is facilitated by the presence of more water, an appropriately green view index, and a diverse plant community structure. Improving sky openness and green view index can effectively promote the coexistence of aesthetics with dynamic behavior. The coexistence of aesthetics and passing‐by behaviors is influenced by sky openness, garden architecture, and service facilities. This study provides a scientific theoretical foundation and a model reference to guide the construction of urban parks that integrate both aesthetic and recreational values.
