Abstract:For the Hamiltonian systems of KAM type, it is proved that some lower dimensional invariant tori always exist in the resonance gaps although those maximum tori can not survive small perturbations in the generic case.

Abstract:This article is devoted to the proof that invariant tori still exist in perturbed integrable Hamiltonian systems with n degrees of freedom H(p, q) = N(p) + P(p, q) if the hypothesis of nondegeneracy is replaced by a much weaker one that the rank of the mapping ∂N/∂p can be any positive integer smaller than n provided the image of any open set under the mapping includes a Cn + 2 curved one-dimensional submanifold.

Abstract:Consider a real analytical Hamiltonian system of KAM type H( p, q) = N( p) + P( p, q) that has n degrees of freedom ( n > 2) and is positive definite in p. Let Omega = {omega is an element of R-n|[(k) over bar, omega] = 0, (k) over bar is an element of Z(n)}. In this paper we show that for most rotation vectors in Omega, in the sense of (n - 1)-dimensional Lebesgue measure, there is at least one (n - 1)-dimensional invariant torus. These tori are the support of corresponding minimal measures. The Lebesgue measure estimate on this set is uniformly valid for any perturbation.

Abstract:Consider a Hamiltonian system of KAM type, H(p,q)=N(p)+P(p,q), with n degrees of freedom (n>2), where the Hessian of N is nondegenerate. For one resonance condition =0, \ (I∈ℤ n ), there is an immersed (n−1) dimensional submanifold ? in action variable space, where almost every point corresponds to a resonant torus for the unperturbed system, which is foliated by (n−1) dimensional ergodic components. It is shown in this paper that there is a subset of ? with positive (n−1)-dim Lebesgue measure, such that for each resonant torus corresponding to a point in this set at least two (n−1)-dimensional tori can survive perturbations. Generically, one is hyperbolic and the other one is elliptic.

Abstract:In this paper, it is proved that the infinite KAM torus with prescribed frequency exists in a sufficiently small neighbourhood of a given I-0 for nearly integrable and analytic Hamiltonian system H(I, theta) = H-0(I) + epsilon H-1(I, theta) of infinite degree of freedom and of short range. That is to say, we will give an extension of the original Kolmogorov theorem to the infinite-dimensional case of short range. The proof is based on the approximation of finite-dimensional Kolmogorov theorem and an improved KAM machinery which works for the normal form depending only on initial I-0. (c) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. Abstract:In this paper, we present two infinite-dimensional KAM theorems with frequency-preserving for a nonresonant frequency of Diophantine type or even weaker. To be more precise, under a nondegenerate condition for an infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian system, we prove the persistence of a full-dimensional KAM torus with the specified frequency independent of any spectral asymptotics, by advantage of the generating function method. This appears to be the first Kolmogorov type result in the infinite-dimensional context. As a direct application, we provide a positive answer to Bourgain's conjecture: full-dimensional invariant tori for 1D nonlinear Schrödinger equations do exist.

Abstract:Given an integrable Hamiltonian h 0 with n -degrees of freedom and a Diophantine frequency ω , then, arbitrarily close to h 0 in the C r topology with r < 2 n , there exists an analytical Hamiltonian h ε with no KAM torus of rotation vector ω . In contrast with it, KAM tori exist if perturbations are small in C r topology with r > 2 n .

Abstract:In this paper we reformulate a formal KAM theorem for Hamiltonian systems with parameters under Bruno-Rüssmann condition. The proof is based on KAM iteration and the key is to adjust the parameters for small divisors after KAM iteration instead of in each KAM step. By this formal KAM theorem we can follow some well known KAM-type results for hyperbolic tori. Moreover, it can also be applied to the persistence of invariant tori with prescribed frequencies.

Abstract:The ``Fundamental Theorem" given by Arnold in [2] asserts the persistence of full dimensional invariant tori for 2-scale Hamiltonian systems. However, persistence in multi-scale systems is much more complicated and difficult. In this paper, we explore the persistence of lower dimensional invariant tori for multi-scale Hamiltonian systems, which play an important role in dynamics of resonant Hamiltonian systems. Moreover, using the corresponding results we give a quasi-periodic Poincaré Theorem for multi-scale Hamiltonian systems, i.e., at least $2^{m_0}$ families resonant tori survive small perturbations, where the integer $m_0$ is the multiplicity of resonance.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove that the normally uniform-hyperbolic lower dimensional invariant tori of the un-perturbed system will persist under small perturbations. The proof is based on the theory of exponentially dichotomous linear systems and an improved KAM machinery adapted for the perturbations of angle dependent unperturbed parts.

Abstract:We introduce several KAM theorems for infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian with short range and discuss the relationship between spectra of linearized operator and invariant tori. Especially, we introduce a KAM theorem by Yuan published in CMP (2002), which shows that there are rich KAM tori for a class of Hamiltonian with short range and with linearized operator of pure point spectra. We also present several open problems.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate Kolmogorov-type theorems for small perturbations of degenerate Hamiltonian systems. These systems are index by a parameter ξ as , where ɛ > 0. We assume that the frequency mapping , and the perturbation maintain Hölder continuity about ξ. We prove that the persistent invariant tori retain the same frequency as those of the unperturbed tori, under a certain topological degree condition and a weak convexity condition for the frequency mapping. Notably, this paper presents, to our understanding, pioneering results on the KAM theorem under such conditions with only assumption of Hölder continuous dependence of frequency mapping ω on the parameter.
