The Research on the Influence of the Intra-provincial Population Migration on the Basic Old-age Insurance Fund Gap——With Shaanxi Province As an Example

Abstract:By using sub-accounts actuarial model and statistical data of the basic old-age insurance for urban workers in Shaanxi Province,the author calculated the payments scale of the basic old-age insurance fund gap from 2006 to 2050 under the four kinds of the intra-provincial migration models.The author found that the population of intra-provincial migration presented the features of juvenescence.Among which,many of the young population were in the initial period of employment so that the pace of population aging would be slowed down in Shaanxi Province.When intra-provincial migration factors were introduced,the scale of old-age insurance fund gap and growth speed would be reduced.When population of intra-provincial migration increased,the decline speed also would be faster.
