THE RESEARCH ON SOCIAL PROCESS OF URBAN PLANNING FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF SOCIAL CAPITAL

Abstract:In the background of rapid construction,the social process of urban planning in China has been neglected for a long period of time,and scarcely reviewed from the perspective of sociology theory.By introducing the concept of social capital from sociology,discussing the importance of social subject and social capital in the social process of urban planning,and classifying the social capital of China based on the structure of "Trust-Network-Norm",this paper finds that in China,the traditional social capital stock is abundant,but the modern civil social capital is deficient.Through organizing the logic structure of social capital,social process and urban planning,the paper puts forward the analysis framework of "forecasting social process-analyzing social capital demands and stock-remodeling the social process",based on which the master planning of Chinese cities is analyzed briefly.Considering the particularity of social capital demand,it is necessary to introduce the framework of social capital analysis to analyze different types of specific planning activity,so as to enhance the using efficiency of social capital,improve the social process of planning,and create civil social capital,with the expectation of providing the reference for the improvement of the social process of China's urban planning.
