Synergistic Effect of Tremella Fuciformis Spores Polysaccharides on Tumor Bearing Mice Treated by Cyclophosphamide

Abstract:Objective:To observe the synergistic effect of Tremella fuciformis spores polysaccharides(TSP) in combination with cy- clophospharmide(CTX) on transplanated tumor hepatoma-22 and sarcoma 180 in mice.Method:The transplanted tumor models with bepatoma-22 and Sarcoma 180 were established and then randomized into nine groups,including control group,TSP low,middle and high dose group,CTX low group,CTX high group,TSP (low,middle and high dose) combined with CTX low groups,TSP (low, middle and high dose) combined with high groups.The nine groups were injected intraperitoneal with same amount of normal saline, CTX 10,20 mg·kg~(-1),TSP (25,50,100 mg·kg~(-1))+CTX 10 mg·kg~(-1),TSP (25,50,100 mg·kg~(-1))+CTX 20 mg·kg~(-1) respec- tively,once a day for 12-14 d.After that,killed them and studied the tumor weight of inhibiting rates.All experiments repeated three times.Result:The tumor weight of inhibiting rates were higher in each TSP plus CTX group than that in CTX groups (P<0.05).Con- damon:TSP can enhance the anti-tumor efficacy of CTX chemotherapy.They should be studied and exploited furtherly.
