Abstract:Based on a quantitative analysis of the environmental characteristics(fuel consumption and carbon emission) and demands of transportation in China,the energy and carbon-constrained developing route of transportation is studied.According to the characteristics and comparative advantage of 4 different transport modes,a new insight on the development of transportation based on optimization of structural system is presented.The strategy appears cost saving and time advantages compared to plans authority released.
