Abstract:In order to authenticate the image integrality,a new and effective fragile watermarking algorithm is proposed based on the analysis of previous watermarking algorithm.Watermark in this algorithm is generated by using DCT coefficients via a look-up table.By using this algorithm,invisibility feature of watermark and anti-attack ability of the marked image are both greatly improved.Moreover,the proposed algorithm can not only be easily embedded into JPEG,but is very suitable for the hardware implementation.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose a watermarking algorithm for digital image based on DCT and SVD. The algorithm can satisfy the transparence and robustness of the watermarking system very well. The experiment based on this algorithm demonstrates that the watermarking is robust to the common signal processing techniques including JEPG compressing,noise, low pass filter, median filter, contrast enhance.Experimental results show that the new watermarking scheme is more robust than the SVD methods.

Abstract:The digital watermark technique is proposed based on Fresnel hologram and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). The Fresnel hologram of the original watermark is gotten by use of digital holography technique. Then the hologram is embedded in the median-frequency coefficients in the DCT domain. The position of watermark and geometric parameters of optical system are adopted to retrieve the watermark without the original host image. The algorithm has high security and practical value. Numerical experiments show that the embedded watermark is robust to usual image manipulations,such as superposing noise,cropping,filtering and lossy compression. Therefore,there is an application prospect for the algorithm.

Abstract:Malicious tampering of digital image content may lead to serious consequences. As image resolution increases and its circulations on the network grows rapidly, images undergo double compression in the following environment: compression (JPEG/JPEG2000) for first release, decoding, application processing (conventional signal processing/security attacks/malicious content tampering), and compression (JPEG2000/JPEG) for rerelease before detection. Effectively determining whether the image content has been tampered and to locate the tampering position in a double-compression environment is an urgent problem. In this paper, a novel watermark expression method based on rotating vector and its modulation algorithm is proposed. Based on this method, a semi-fragile watermarking scheme is established for the image content authentication. The stability of watermarked data is analyzed theoretically, providing the watermark scheme with a theoretical basis. The authentication schemes with feature extraction and reconstruction, watermark embedding and extraction, and tamper detection and localization are mainly elaborated. The robustness of watermark, its security, and related detection performance are analyzed. Theoretical analysis and experiments show that the scheme features a good watermark transparency, good robustness, and stable distribution for different attacks and can effectively distinguish malicious tampering from content-preserving operators and locate tampering area under double-compression environment. In addition, the proposed scheme can resist watermark attacks, collage attacks, and forge attacks. Compared with related schemes, the proposed scheme has superior comprehensive performance and is suitable for content authentication in double-compression environment, which expands the application scope of watermark-based content authentication.

Abstract:A novel watermarking approach for copyright protection of color images based on the nonsubsampled contour let transform (NSCT). We employ the genetic algorithm optimization principles and HVS masking technique to obtain high robustness and transparency with respect to the existing algorithms. In our scheme, the embedding factor is controlled locally according to the result of Generic Algorithm (GA) cycle. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm yields a watermark which is invisible to human eyes and robust to a wide variety of common attacks.

Abstract:New approach to blind digital watermarking based on the OBSA multiwavelets and genetic algorithms is presented in this paper.OBSA multiwavelets have randomicity as to selection of the pre-filters.A pre-filter Q can be constructed through genetic algorithms according to different fitness function for proposed embedding algorithms.In watermarking algorithm 1,a grey watermark image is decomposed to bit-planes,one level DMWT is realized by using the pre-filter Q and OBSA multiwavelet for host images.The watermark bit-planes are embedded in low frequency parts.0 or 1 of the watermark bit-planes is represented by even or odd number respectively,and vice versa.This method can keep good perceptual transparency,and make no distortion of the extracted watermark.The replacement method is used in watermarking algorithm 2,two level DMWT is realized by using the pre-filter Q and OBSA multiwavelet for host images,a grey watermark image is embedded by replacing the selected band.The experiment results show that this proposed approach has the desired properties such as invisibility,reliable detection and robustness against typical operation.

Abstract:For digital copyright protection and traceability, many text watermarking algorithms have been proposed. However, the vast majority of them have one or more the following disadvantages: Insufficient embedded capacity, poor robustness, and large embedded noise affecting the expression of normal documents. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a text watermarking scheme based on hidden objects. It solves problem from the level of programming objects in office and hides these objects that can record information, so as to realize the information hiding of the text. Compared with the existing methods, our proposed solution obtains higher robustness results against most of the extremely dangerous attacks, and at the same time possesses the faster embedded speed and the greater embedded capacity.

Abstract:A DCT-domain watermarking algorithm with 8 bits gray image's watermark is proposed. First, the method of block classification based on HVS is improved, which enhances the information hiding ability of cover image. In the watermark embedding process, we transform the image's watermark into DCT domain, and embed the low-frequency coefficients to the blocks that have bigger elongation factor. At the same time, we adjust the DCT coefficients of image's watermark to make them in the same level. This increases the SNR of extracted watermark. The experimental results show that the mentioned algorithm is more robust to many attacks, especially to JPEG compression, rotation and cropping.

Abstract:An adaptive blind image watermarking scheme in DCT domain is proposed based on support vector machine (SVM) and genetic algorithm (GA). The original image is divided into small image blocks, and then SVM is used to classify image blocks into several classes based on their local characteristics. The embedding strength of each block is adaptively determined according to the types of the image block, and GA is used to seek optimal embedding positions. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme has good invisibility and strong robustness against several attacks.

Abstract:In this paper, a novel algorithm is proposed to embed and detect digital watermarks. It is different from other algorithms, because the algorithm embeds digital bits in the relationship among pixels, whereas most of other algorithms embed digital bits in term of pixel's position. In the embedding phase one discrete chaotic map is used to create random sequences to encrypt watermarking bits, the other discrete chaotic map is used to permute the original image. Watermarking detection resorts to looking for a path with the minimal distance like Viterbi Algorithm, and it is performed without the original image. Experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively resist the influence of Gaussian Noise, JPEG compression, cropping operation, and recover original watermarks well.

Abstract:This paper aims at digital watermark which is a new popular research topic recently, presents some methods to embed digital watermark based on modifying frequency coefficients in discrete wavelet transform (DWT) domain. First, the present progress of digital watermark is briefly introduced; after that, starting from Pitas’s method and discarding his pseudo random number method, the authors use a digital image scrambling technology as preprocessing for digital watermarking. Then the authors discuss how to embed a 1-bit digital image as watermark in frequency domain. Finally another digital watermarking method is given in which 3-D DWT is used to transform a given digital image. Based on the experimental results, it is shown that the proposed methods are robust to a large extent.

Abstract:A scheme of embedding high capability digital watermark in images was developed using a multiple scales method to follow the development of high capability watermark and counterattack tortuous crimes.Under the framework of Mallat wavelet decomposition and based on high frequency significant coefficients,the algorithm realizes full-scale embedding and simultaneously increases the embedding bits and image robustness by taking advantages of the multi-resolutional characteristics of the wavelet tree.The extracting scheme detects watermark by embedding positions and weighting factor associated with the full-scale information for conditions of JPEG loss compression,blurring,sharpening and geometric distortions(i.e.,cropping and affine transform).Comparisons between the original and processed images and watermarks by means of PSNR and correlation coefficients show that this algorithm outstands other methods in full-scale embedding,observably increased embedding bits,and excellent trade-off between transparency and robustness.Experimental results also show the large embedded information content,the imperceptibility for the human vision system,neat and intact extracted watermarks,and the robustness against various attacks.

Abstract:A new watermarking scheme which incorporates wavelet and spatial transformation has been developed for digital images. This algorithm utilizes the wavelet multiresolutional structure to construct the image frequency components and the chaotic transformation as two dimensional integer vector generators for spatial transform to select the location during the watermark embedding. To efficiently embed the watermark within the image without the loss of image quality and provide the robustness for the watermark detection under attacks, a modular based spatial threshold and adjustment scheme of the wavelet coefficients has been developed in this research. Unlike other watermarking schemes which usually rely on significantly large amount of side information for watermark detection, our algorithm need only few key parameters to detect the watermark with meaningful content. Compared with some known approaches of watermarking schemes, this algorithm results in superior robustness and information protection for keeping watermark intact under image processing attacks like image compression

Abstract:The advancement of computer technology has raised significant issues with digital content piracy and copyright law. A popular method of protecting copyright and related uses is digital watermarking. Various algorithms have been developed to address the need for invisible performance and robustness in digital watermarking schemes. Here, we proposed a novel evolutionary algorithm, the hybrid Grass Hopper Optimization algorithm, and the Genetic algorithm (HGOAGA) for optimizing multiple scaling factors in the digital watermarking scheme in the frequency domain of hybrid Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method (hybrid DWT-SVD). The subcomponents of the image are determined by calculating the DWT of the cover image. The problem is determining the best scaling factor for watermarking after converting the subcomponent to the frequency domain using SVD. In HGOAGA, an optimal solution of multiple scaling factors is found after several iterations, starting with a set of randomly generated solutions. The advantages of GOA and GA are combined in the HGOAGA to balance exploration and exploitation functionalities. Furthermore, HGOAGA can converge quickly and escape local optima well. Some standard images were used in the MATLAB environment to test the proposed algorithm. The evaluation of the experiment was carried out using various metrics such as the Structural Similarity Index (SSIM), the Normalized Cross-Correlation (NCC), and the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). The experimental results of the tests showed a PSNR value of 51db for the proposed method compared to existing methods, and they are best suited to solving conflict problems between robustness and quality.

Abstract:A genetic algorithm based robust blind digital watermarking scheme is presented. Starting from a binary image (the original watermark), a genetic algorithm is performed searching for a permutation of this image which is as uncorrelated as possible to the original watermark. The output of the GA is used as our final watermark, so that both security and robustness in the watermarking process is improved. Now, the original cover image is partitioned into non-overlapped square blocks (depending on the size of the watermark image). Then a (possibly extended) Hadamard transform is applied to these blocks, so that one bit information from the watermark image is embedded in each block by modifying the relationship of two coefficients in the transformed matrices. The watermarked image is finally obtained by simply performing the inverse (extended) Hadamard transform on the modified matrices. The experimental results show that our scheme keeps invisibility, security and robustness more likely than other proposals in the literature, thanks to the GA pretreatment.

Abstract:This paper proposed a new watermarking embedding algorithm, which can regulate the intensity of watermarking automatically. It's different from most algorithms adopted the fixed intensity of watermarking which obtains from experiment. In this novel algorithm, the intensity of watermarking defined by a mathematical expression can fully combine HVS characteristics, and get the different intensity of watermarking in different place.This also makes watermarking more robust and More invisible. Besides, the gray-scale image used as water-marking in this paper contains more information, and is more cognizable, more secure than traditional one. Experimental results show that the technique is robust and invisible.

Abstract:In order to achieve protection of the copyright of an image while the image quality is kept,a new kind of adaptive grey-level digital watermarking algorithm which combines DWT with DCT is brought forward.According to DWT of the original unmarked image,the HL and LH are selected as the parts to be embedded and plotted into small block images,and then DCT is carried out. The watermarking image is embedded in the low frequency coefficients containing DC components and the parts of middle frequency coefficients.This algorithm coalesces the multi-resolution effects of DWT and the energy compressing and decorrelation capacity of DCT.The results of experiment indicate that this algorithm has many advantages in practicability,robustness,and maneuverability.

Abstract:Digital watermarking technique has been looked upon as an effective solution to protecting the copyright of multimedia data. In this paper, an Image-Adaptive (I-A) watermarking algorithm in Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) domain is proposed. The algorithm utilizes the visual masking and texture characteristics of Human Visual System (HVS) to achieve the invisible and robust requirements for watermarking. In addition, we design a binary image watermark signal and permute it by pseudorandom method before embedded. Thus our watermark scheme possess the dual security. The experiment results show that the algorithm is robust to common digital image processing methods and the quality of the image is guaranteed.

Abstract:This paper proposes a improved algorithm to embed and detect the digital watermark in digital image. And it uses a highly efficient and practical programming tool MATLAB to achieve a block-based on DCT domain digital watermark embedding and extraction validated. First, transform the watermark information into a binary string, with dual unrelated normal pseudo random sequence of real numbers representing the 0 and 1 of the watermark information embedded in the image of the DCT middle frequency coefficients. After these attacks based detection of correlation matrix to extract the correct watermark. Demonstrate the robustness and invisibility. Propose some improvement methods.
