Abstract:In this paper we designed a control system of gas flowrate.Applying thermal mass flowmeter to measure gas mass flow directly.Using AT89S51 as CPU of the system and built a fuzzy controller.We also discussed the hardware and software design of the system.

Abstract:It is a significant project to apply gasoline pipeline blending technology in refinery. Some problems can be achieved by decreasing the variability of the octane giveaway such as quality control, optimize operation, reducing the number of tanks, enhancing the cheapness feed stocks, reblend expenses and overstock, etc. Based on expert fuzzy system, a new gasoline pipeline blending control system was designed and run in a refinery. The results show that the control method is valid, the gasoline blend system is successful and it can bring remarkable economy benefit for the refinery.

Abstract:Aiming at the color yellow, darker or burnt problems generated in tea carding, by the analysis of tea carding technology, tempera-ture control, fuzzy algorithm and fuzzy-PID control technology, fuzzy algorithm and fuzzy-PID control technology was applied in tea carding machine control system. A design of tea carding machine double fuzzy control system based on fuzzy algorithm, fuzzy-PID control technology, and STM32 ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller was presented. Simulations about traditional PID control system and double fuzzy control system were made in Matlab, and also the experiments about the both systems on 6CLZ-60 tea carding machine were done. The results indicate that the parameters which output by this control system are ideal of tea carding, the temperature departure is less then 1 ℃. The double fuzzy control system for tea carding machine can reduce the human factors in the process of tea-making, improve the quality or tea carding and the intelligent level of the machine for tea-making.

Abstract:A real - time fuzzy control algorithm is presented in this paper, and the realization way for a class of motion control systems is analyzed; then the fuzzy motion control system based on CAN field bus is implemented. Both the overall architecture of the system and the design of field motion controller are proposed here. The experiments results show that the proposed fuzzy control system has better performance in the rapid response real - time and precision and is useful in motion control system.

Analysis of Pressure and Flow Compound Control Characteristics of an Independent Metering Hydraulic System Based on a Two-Level Fuzzy Controller

Abstract:An independent metering valve control hydraulic system (IMVCHS) adopts two independent valves to separately control the meter-in and meter-out orifices. This structure increases the degree of freedom of the control, and improves its flexibility and energy-saving performance. In this study, an IMVCHS was established that applies a control system developed to research the pressure and flow compound control performance. A two-level fuzzy control algorithm based on the calculated flow rate feedback from the spool displacement was proposed to realize high precision flow control, and the two-level fuzzy control algorithm based on the pressure feedback was also adopted to enhance the pressure performance under a dynamic load. A simulation model was established, and its key parameters identified experimentally using the simulated load of a hydraulic bridge circuit. The experimental results show that the proposed flow controller has higher control accuracy with an error of less than 2%, and the flow adjustment time for 40 L/min step control is 320 ms. The pressure controller with a two-level closed-loop fuzzy algorithm can significantly improve these pressure dynamic and static performances, and achieve a step response time of less than 180 ms. Combining the pressure and flow controllers, the pressure and flow compound control of the IMVCHS is realized, and the capacity for coping with load fluctuations is also identified, with compound adjustment times of generally less than 200 ms, and occasionally less than 100 ms. This control system therefore achieves a good performance for pressure and flow compound control, and is able to widen the application of independent metering control technology.

Abstract:Based on fuzzy logical theory, an information fusion model with multi-sensor and multi-parameter is proposed and applied to identify the flow regimes in gas-solid fluidized beds. Algorithmic complexity, fluctuation complexity and Shannon entropy of the pressure fluctuation time series are employed as the fused characteristic parameters to carry out multi-parameter fusion. Membership functions are established to identify the state transition between different flow regimes according to the characteristic parameters. After the multi decisions of each sensor are fused at the decision level, the final identification results for different flow regimes can to be obtained. Experimental results indicate that Shannon entropy characteristic parameter can be used to better solve the problem of identifying flow regime transition of bubbling and turbulent motion. Multi-sensor, multi-parameters data fusion method can be applied to identify different fluidization regimes and transition between them and achieve better results.

Abstract:To reduce the complexity of programming fuzzy controller and the difficulty of introducing fuzzy control to a thermal system, a software system for fuzzy controller development is successfully designed. This kind of system is developed firstly. The “software project” design idea is adopted and the Tsukamoto fuzzy interference algorithm is selected as the core algorithm. By using “data flow file” method, a dynamic link library for data transfer is designed. This system has greatly raised the efficiency of developing fuzzy controller by simplifying the work of programming. Since the sophisticated algorithm is selected, the stability of a fuzzy controller can be ensured. The fuzzy controller designed by this system can be used to control all kinds of medium sized and small sized objects. And the effect excels that of the normal controller.

Abstract:The production of nitrogen from the air through membrane gas separation processes is widely used in many industries. The problem of controlling the gas separation process, it is connected with multi-loop control using the control of several variables. This article proposes an intelligent controller for matching fluctuations in pressure and airflow of the gas separator. The intelligent controller is based on a fuzzy logic algorithm. Applying fuzzy logic in the proposed solution allows you to increase the speed of the control system. The effectiveness of the proposed controller was evaluated in comparison with the PID controller. The proposed fuzzy controller can improve the accuracy of the control system of gas separation, reduce the process transient duration and increase the service life of technological equipment.

Abstract:To the stability of the consistency and flowing velocity of paper pulp affecting the quality of paper,computer control system of paper pulp consistency and flowing velocity is designed based on fuzzy control technology,according to the problems existing in controlling and measuring the consistency of paper pulp during paper manufacture.The consistency and flowing velocity of paper pulp must be controlled and the dry component of paper pulp must be calculated in paper manufacturing.According to the requires of technics,a computer control system with a fuzzy controller of consistency and flowing velocity is designed.The relevant controlling program is written in Kingview 6.0.Practical running shows that the system is reliable,and with low disturbance and high precision of the control variables such as consistency and flowing velocity.

Abstract:On the basis of analyzing of the coupling relationship among variations in the heating system,and in accordance with the control requirements,the paper presents a basic control strategy in which the heating system is divided into several subsystems to be controlled respectively under the premise of effective decoupling.The control program of the variable flow heating system has been designed.Hardware configuration with IPC as the superordinate computer and PLC as the subordinate system,as well as the software design method are introduced.The design of PID control procedures,and the interrupted procedures are described in detail.

Abstract:At present gas flow measurement and control are the key parts in the fuel cell and solar energy equipment. The percent of mixture gas would be calculated theoretically to achieve the high efficiency. Thus a new gas flow measurement and controller are presented for energy industry in this paper. Based on the thermal sensor and low pressure drop solenoid valve, the new gas flow measurement controller is integrated by temperature compensation. Abstract:Flow control is one of the most important valve functions which can be realized using the signal obtained by flow meters. However, flow meters are not suitable for being installed on fast response systems or in compact space due to slow response and large volume. This paper proposes a computational flow feedback control method using a flow inferential measurement method and a proportional integral controller. The flow inferential measurement method uses an AdaBoost neural network to learn flow change regulation affected by spool displacement, pressure differential, and temperature with high accuracy and low overfitting. The flow calculation model is analyzed by global sensitivity analysis to find the effect proportion of each factor, and piecewise wavelet filter is used to reduce the noise effect of the key signal in the calculation. The AdaBoost neural network is found to be capable of recognizing the characteristic shapes of the flow function with an accuracy of ±2%. The controller receives the accurately calculated flow and adjusts the spool displacement to control the flow. The performance of the flow control method is evaluated in the experiments. The control error is controlled within ±3% and the effectiveness of the method is validated.

Abstract:A temperature and water level automatic control system is designed to meet the demands for temperature and water level control of gas fired boiler used in domestic heating application.With AT89S51 single chip computer as the kernel control chip,and by adopting PID algorithm to regulate the difference between the detected signal and the set point,the system outputs the control signal for controlling the inlet gas switch,thus the temperature is under control.The modules included in the system and the software programming method using single chip computer assembly language for these modules are introduced.The test results show that this system realizes the functions of display,control and alarm for the temperature and water level of the boiler.

Abstract:The regulation process of gas distribution systems for atmosphere packaging has the characteristics of being nonlinear time varying and having hysteric delay. When the conventional proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control algorithm is applied to this kind of system, it is difficult to set the parameters as the process is time consuming and has poor reliability. For these reasons, this paper designs a gas distribution system for fresh food atmosphere packaging based on a fuzzy PID controller. The step response method is used to construct the system’s mathematical model under the given conditions and to optimize the gas distribution control flow. A simulation experimental platform to compare between the fuzzy PID controller and a conventional PID controller is designed, and the effectiveness of the fuzzy PID control strategy is verified, which proves that it can improve the performance of the monitoring system. The system can realize the remote monitoring of the gas distribution processes through the use of a mobile phone communication network. The data transmission is reliable, the operation is convenient, and, at the same time, the overall efficiency is improved. The results of the system simulation and the gas distribution for atmosphere packaging show that the fuzzy PID algorithm has a faster gas distribution speed and good environmental adaptability as the controller of the gas distribution system. The results show that the stability time of the fuzzy PID controller is about 38 s, while the stability time of the conventional PID controller is about 85 s. The concentration error of fresh gases is ±0.25% floating, the accuracy is increased by 12 times, and the gas distribution speed is increased by about 50% when the system is stable.

Abstract:This paper presents the design of a constant water supply system under fuzzy control performed by PLC and a frequency converter. The system is designed on the on site operators' experience, which can solve the problem exsisting in the parameter adjustment in the courses of the traditional PID control. The system can replace the water supply mode performed by a perch water tower and water pump, which effectuates the direct water pressure. The application has proved to be very effective for saving on energy.
