Abstract:Avian infectious bronchitis(IB)is a highly contagious respiratory disease. The genome of avian infectious bronchitis virus(IBV)is highly variable and its serotypes are multiple and cross protection between different serotypes is poor, which lead to immune failure frequently.Hence,it is very important to disclose the pathogenic mechanisms of IBV.Interaction between virus and the host immune system is a new focus in studying the pathogenesis of IBV,especially the first line of host defense against pathogens, the innate immune system, which play a central role in determining the outcome of infection. The research progress in host innate immune response to IBV infection was focused on pattern recognition receptors,I-interferon,cytokine and chemokine, innate immune cells and complement system in the present review in order to provide information for the study of IBV pathogenesis and prevention and control of IB.
