Abstract:The exponential stability of impulsive delay difference equations is considered.Employing the Lyapunov function,Some conditions are obtained which guarantee the exponential stability of impulsive delay difference equations,that is the stability criteria for the impulsive delay difference equations.For linear impulsive delay difference equations,a concrete Lyapunov function is given.Then,by utilizing the foregoing result,a stability criterion for linear impulsive delay difference equations is offered.Finally,two numerical experiments illustrate the correctness of the results.

Abstract:This paper investigates the stability of nonlinear variable-time impulsive differential systems with delayed impulses. By using the comparison principle, the Lyapunov method and inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions for quasi-uniformly asymptotic stability and quasi-exponential stability of a given solution of variable-time impulsive differential systems with delayed impulses are established.

Abstract:The problem of stability for nonlinear impulsive stochastic functional differential equations with delayed impulses is addressed in this paper. Based on the comparison principle and an impulsive delay differential inequality, some exponential stability and asymptotical stability criteria are derived, which show that the system will be stable if the impulses’ frequency and amplitude are suitably related to the increase or decrease of the continuous stochastic flows. The obtained results complement ones from some recent works. Two examples are discussed to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of our results.

Abstract:In this paper, the exponential stability of impulsive delay difference equations is studied and the stability of the Euler method is considered for a linear impulsive delay differential equation. Using the Lyapunov function and Razumikhin technique, criteria for exponential stability of impulsive delay difference equations are established. As an application, the Euler method for impulsive delay differential equations is considered. By means of the results we got for impulsive delay difference equations, we obtain sufficient conditions which guaranteeing the exponential stability of the Euler method. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the results. © 2011 Watam Press.

Abstract:In this paper, we study stability of a class of stochastic differential delay equations with nonlinear impulsive effects. First, we establish the equivalent relation between the stability of this class of stochastic differential delay equations with impulsive effects and that of a corresponding stochastic differential delay equations without impulses. Then, some sufficient conditions ensuring various stabilities of the stochastic differential delay equations with impulsive effects are obtained. Finally, two examples are also discussed to illustrate the efficiency of the obtained results.

Abstract:The main objective of this paper is to further investigate the exponential stability of a class of impulsive delay differential equations. Several new criteria for the exponential stability are analytically established based on Razumikhin techniques. Some sufficient conditions, under which a class of linear impulsive delay differential equations are exponentially stable, are also given. An Euler method is applied to this kind of equations and it is shown that the exponential stability is preserved by the numerical process.

Abstract:This paper investigated the eventual stability of the zero solution of nonlinear impulsive differential systems. First, the definitions of the eventual stability of the zero solution to impulsive differential systems are introduced. Then, by means of Liapunov functions, sufficient conditions for the uniform eventual stability, asymptotic eventual stability, uniformly asymptotic eventual stability and eventual instability of the zero solution of nonlinear impulsive differential systems are presented. An example was discussed to show the application of the results.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of nonlinear impulsive delay differential equations. By establishing an exponential estimate for delay differential inequality with impulsive initial condition and employing Banach fixed point theorem, we obtain several sufficient conditions ensuring the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of a periodic solution for nonlinear impulsive delay differential equations. Furthermore, the criteria are applied to analyze dynamical behavior of impulsive delay Hopfield neural networks and the results show different behavior of impulsive system originating from one continuous system.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the impulsive effects on the stability of the zero solution of the linear neutral differential equations with variable delays. By transforming the equations into ones without impulses and using fixed point theory, some sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability and exponential stability of the zero solution are obtained. The paper extends and improves results on sufficient conditions obtained by Jin and Luo (2008) [17], and Ardjouni and Djoudi (2011) [18], which is shown clearly in Example 1. This paper also shows that the impulse intensity and the impulse time both influence the decay rate of the convergence to zero of the solutions. Finally, two examples are given to show applications of some results obtained.

Abstract:This paper deals with the stability problems of nonautonomous impulsive differential systems with time-delay. By utilizing the method of mathematic induction, proofs by contradiction and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, we obtain several uniformly stable criteria about the linear and nonlinear nonautonomous impulsive systems with time delay. One numerical example and its simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical result.

Abstract:In this paper, the robust exponential stability of uncertain impulsive delay difference equations is investigated. First, some robust exponential stability criteria for uncertain impulsive delay difference equations with continuous time in which the state variables on the impulses may relate to the time-varying delays are provided. Then a robust exponential stability result for uncertain linear impulsive delay difference equations with discrete time is given. Some examples, including an example which cannot be studied by the existing results, are also presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
