From Straggler,Pursuer to Transcendent:Road of China's Industrial Development through a Century (1913-2013)

Abstract:Industry is the main sector of the national economy and also the substantial basis of a country's economic power.This paper summarized the roads and strategies of China's four generations of industrial development based on the characteristics of the four rounds of industrialization of the world.The road of China's industry development was from a straggler to a pursuer,then to a transcendent,and China gradually became the biggest country of industrial production,industrial products export and hi-tech products export in the world.The development of China's industry during the past century witnessed the rising road of China,which demonstrated the historical law that"prosperity of the industry leads to the prosperity of the country;powerfulness of the industry leads to the powerfulness of the state."China needs to lead the world's green industrial revolution,and well design the new industrial development strategies in the future.
