Abstract:Coastal zone is the concentration area of land-ocean interactions.Owing to high population density,coastal zone is sensitive and vulnerable to future sea level rise.It is theoretically and practically important to assess the risks of sea level rise to coastal zone.Based on the research frame of risk assessment of sea level rise,research progresses of the problems caused by sea level rise were presented,such as coastal erosion,storm surge flooding,sea water intrusion,coastal wetland loss,and so on.According to the insufficiencies in current researches,some key problems in future research on the risk assessment of sea level rise are presented.
