Effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with Edaravone on Cerebral Infarction

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinic effect of Buyang Huanwu decoction combined with edaravone on acute cerebral infarction.Methods One hundred and thirty patients(pts) with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the trial group(n=65) received Buyang Huanwu decoction with edaravone,and control group(n=65) received edaravone and complex Danshen.Neural function was assessed by National Institutes of Health Stroke(NIHSS) before and after treatment.Results After treatment for 21 days,there was significant difference in total effective rate between the trial group and control group(P<0.05).The difference of NIHSS between the trial group and control group was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The resultsed suggest that Buyang Huanwu decoction combined with edaravone was effective in treating pts with acute cerebral infarction.
