Abstract:Objective To evaluate postoperative adaptive responses of lung cancer patients so as to provide reference for nurses in carrying out comprehensive nursing to improve postoperative adaptability. Methods One hundred and nineteen patients after lung cancer operation were surveyed by self-designed lung cancer postoperative adaptive response questionnaire. Results The general status of postoperative adaptive responses in these patients was good. The incidence of 14 items of adverse responses was above 50% , among them, fatigue was most common. Correlative analysis revealed age was negatively related to the postoperative adaptive level; there was significant correlation in 4 postoperative adaptive response items, namely postoperative physiological function, self-conception, role function and mutual reliance. Conclusion Intensive nursing care should be given to lung cancer patients with major postoperative adverse adaptive responses, especially in elderly patients.
