Abstract:The paper discusses in view of the Wuhan Declaration for Library Cooperation and Information Resource Sharing the scientific developmental implications of library resource sharing and the strategies for it in a digital age. It takes that extensive library cooperation and resource sharing is a strategic choice for China's university libraries, the mode of resource sharing decides the ways of doing it, and that legalization and standardization are powerful tools for library development. It finally raises some constructive proposals to carry out the Declaration.
