Abstract:In the course of studying tachinid flies (Diptera,Tachinidae) from Liaoning Laotudingzi National Nature Reserve of China,over 1 500 specimens were examined,of which 3 species are described as new to science:Mycteromyiella zhui sp.nov.,Nemoraea angustifrons sp.nov.,Phasia huanrenensis sp.nov.; 8 species are recognized as new records in China,viz.(Ophina) takanoi Mesnil,Panzeria laevigata (Meigen) and Dicarca fluviatilis Richter.

Abstract:Tachinid specimens (Diptera:Tachinidae) from Mt.Huangyi of Kuandian,Eastem Liaoning,China were examined.One species is described as new to science,Linnaemya (s.str.)flavifemur Zhang sp.nov.,with photos of adults and male terminalia.Two genera and four species are newly recorded from China:Microsoma Macquart,1855,Rhacodinella Mesnil,1968;Melastrongygaster atrata Shima,2015,Microsoma exigua (Meigen,1824),Rhacodinella aurata Mesnil,1970 and Smidtiafukushii Shima,1996;and their diagnosis and photos are provided.

Abstract:The genus Campyhxheta Rondani (Diptera, Tachinidae) of China was studied. Two new species, C. macubsa sp. nov. from Liaoning and C. latifrons sp. nov. from Ningxia, China are described, and C. abdominalis Shima, C. bisetosa Shima and C. hirticeps Shima are recognized as new records in China. A key to 8 Chinese species of Campylocheta is provided. The type specimens and other examined specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection, Shenyang Normal University (SNU).

Abstract:The Tachinid flies(Insecta: Diptera: Tachinidae) of Mt.Tiecha,Benxi in east Liaoning Province,China were investigated and studied,and 121 species,60 genera,17 tribes of 4 subfamilies were examined and recognized,in which Cyzenis Robineau-Desvoidy and Cyzenis albicans(Fallen),Smidtia laeta(Mesnil) are newly recorded in China;13 endemic species of China and 27 species are newly recorded from Liaoning.Faunal structure and hilltop effect of Mt.Tiecha were discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, a prelimitary investigation on the family Tachinidae (Insecta, Diptera) of Hanma National Nature Reserve, northwest Daxinganling Mountains, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China has been done by Shi's group members in summer, 2015 and 104 tachinid specimens were collected by Malaise traps and examined in Zhang's laboratory, and 41 tachinid species, 29 genera, 11 tribes, 4 subfamilies were recognized, including one newly recorded genus for China: Lydina Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, four newly recorded species for China: Periscepsia (Ramonda) ringdahli (Villeneuve, 1922), Phyllomya japonica Shima, 1988, Myxexoristops abietis Herting, 1964, Lydina aenea (Meigen, 1824);and 13 newly recorded species for Inner Mongolia.All the studying specimens were kept in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University (SYNU).

Abstract:The tachinid flies play an important role in the control of pests in agriculture and forestry.In this study,Tachinidae(Diptera) from Laotudingzi National Nature Reserve in Liaoning Province,China,were investigated and over 1 500 specimens collected and examined.124 species of 68 genera in 21 tribes of 4 subfamilies were identified,separately about 10.4% and 25.1% of 1 187 tachinid species of 271 known genera in China,of which 1 genus and 4 species were newly recorded in China;viz.Zophomyia Macquart,Frontina tricolor Shima,Nilea innoxia Robineau-Desvoidy,Phryxe semicaudata Herting,Opesia cana(Meigen).36 species were newly recorded from Liaoning and 14 species were endemic to China.A preliminary analysis of the tachinid flies in this region was conducted.Specimens collected in this study were deposited in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University(SNU).

Abstract:One new species, Dolichocoxys wangi Zhang et Liu, sp. nov. of the tribe Blondeliini (Diptera, Tachinidae) from Tibet and Yunnan, China is described and illustrated. Admontia podomyia Brauer et Bergenstamm from Sichuan and Qinghai, and Oswaldia gilva Shima from Liaoning are newly recorded from China. The type specimens of the new species are separately preserved in Shenyang Normal University and Shanghai Entomological Museum.

Abstract:During our studying of the fauna of Tibet, China, many specimens of the subfamily Tachininae ( Diptera , Tachinidae ) were collected and examined. Three species are described here as new to science, Leskia latisurstyla sp. nov. , Trichoformosomyia cuonaensis sp. nov. , and Tachina jilongensis sp. nov. , and two species, Nemoraea javana (Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1894) and N. echinata Mesnil, 1953, are newly recorded from Tibet. In addition to their descriptions, illustrations, and diagnoses, three identification keys are provided. The specimens in this study are kept in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University, China ( SYNU ).

Abstract:Investigating the biodiversity and fauna of Tachinidae ( Diptera) in Liaoning Hun River Source Nature Reserve of NE China. Morphological taxonomy and biogeography methods were applied in this study and 2553 tachinid specimens were collected. Results:The specimens of Tachinidae from Hun River Source were examined and 158 species, 83 genera, 23 tribes, 4 subfamilies were recognized, are separately 23. 54% tribes, 29. 47% genera, 12. 62% species of China, and adults occuring dates and 15 dominated species among Hun River Rourse forestry ecosystems are provided. The fauna of its tachinid flies are dominated by 61 Palaearctic species ( 38. 61%) and 86 common Palaearctic and Oriental species (54. 43%), total 147 species (93. 04%). Four species are newly recorded in China and their diagnosis and photos are provided: Peribaea ussuriensis ( Mesnil, 1963 ) , Phryno tenuiforceps ( Tachi, 2013 ) , Nemorilla floralis (Meigen, 1824), Smidtia magnicornis Mesnil, 1967, 28 species are newly recorded for Liaoning.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the faunal resource of Tachinidae（Insecta: Diptera） from Mt. Lishan National Nature Reserve, Shanxi, China. Methods In July 2012 and July 2022, adult tachinid specimens were collected by net trapping at different locations and transect intervals in Mt. Lishan National Nature Reserve. The specimens collected were prepared in the laboratory and examined by comparative morphology using a stereomicroscope for classification and identification. Results According to the identification results as well as existing data, 108 tachinid species of 59 genera, 17 tribes, and 4 subfamilies were reported in the Mt. Lishan National Nature Reserve, including one newly recorded genus in China, Dionaea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, one newly recorded species in China, D. aurifrons（Meigen, 1824） and 12 newly recorded species in Shanxi province. Conclusions The investigations of Tachinidae resource in Mt. Lishan National Nature Reserve provide basic data for the understanding of biological resources as well as biodiversity conservation and utilization in Mt. Lishan National Nature Reserve.

Abstract:Objective To investigate Fauna resource of Tachinidae(Insecta: Diptera)in the Nature Reserves of Hebei province, China. Methods We collected 312 tachinid specimens in some Nature Reserves of Hebei province from July 5th to 18th, 2016, identified by comparative morphology, taxonomy, and zoogeography. Results A total of 66 species, 43 genera, 13 tribes, and 4 subfamilies were recognized. Among them, one species was newly recorded in China, Atylostoma tricolor(Mik, 1884); twenty-six tachinid species were newly recorded for Hebei province. Conclusion Hebei province belongs to North China subregion of Palaearctic region in zoogeography. Because of complex diversity of land form sand vegetation, so Tachinidae resources are richer in Hebei province.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose one new genus with one new species from Hainan Province, namely, Neophlugiolopsis gen. nov. and N. longiprocera sp. nov. The differences between the new genus and allied genera in morphology are discussed, which can be distinguished by the shape of the posterior process of the tenth abdominal tergite and cerci in males. All specimens were deposited in Guangxi Normal University.
