Abstract:Numerous peasants of China require a large quantity of rural housing construction and cause a huge amount of energy and material consumption. By architec- tural sustainable theory and with practical example, this paper analyzes the resources consumption of rural housing in its life cycle and for making full use of natural resources, it expounds the tactics and main problems from housing de- sign to construction.
