Analysis of Clinical Features of Sever Untypical Pulmonary Fungitis

Abstract:Objective With the increased morbidity of pulmonary fungitis,clinical physicians have paid more attention to it. However,the clinical and radiographic chest manifestations of pulmonary fungitis infection are untypical with no characteristics,which result in difficulty in early diagnosis and treatment,especially in immunocompetent patients.Methods We have treated sever pulmonary fungitis infection in the first six months in 2006 in our hospital.In this paper,we analyzed the sever cases in several aspects,including pathogenesis, onset features,clinical manifestations,radiographic features,diagnosis evidences and treatment strategies.Results Seven cases had no apparent immunocompetent status and different radiographic features,who were diagnosed by serum markers,lung biopsy,sputum culture. Conclusion Since the clinical features of pulmonary fungitis become more complicated,doctors should emphasize on it.
