Abstract:Objectives The aim of this research was to study the effect of in vitro maturation on the expression and the regulation of maternal imprinted genes in the testis of male offspring.Methods Institute for clinical systems improvement(ICSI) and in vitro maturation(IVM) conceived mice were established,and Quantitative real time RT-PCR and Pyrosequencing were used to detect the expressions and methylation levels of 6 maternal imprinted genes in their testes.Results Compared with ICSI mice,the increased expressions and decreased methylation levels were shown in IVM mice.Conclusion IVM may influence the expressions of maternal imprinted genes in testis by regulating epigenetic modification.
