Abstract:Ring nematodes of the genus Criconemoides are a group of polyphagous, migratory root-ectoparasites of plants. In a nematological survey of Zhejiang Province, three new Criconemoides species were isolated from the rhizosphere of Citrus sp., Euonymus alatus and Pterocarya stenoptera trees. In the present study, the new species characterized using an integrative taxonomic approach and described as Criconemoides parainformis n. sp., C. geraerti n. sp. and C. rotundicaudatus n. sp. Three of the species shares truncated anteriorly flattened lip region comprised of two annuli, body annuli margin smooth with few anastomoses, (except C. rotundicaudatus n. sp. it has crenated annuli margins and numerous anastomoses), excretory pore 1–2 annuli posterior to pharyngeal bulb base, (except C. geraerti n. sp. it has excretory pore at the same level, or 1–2 annuli anterior to pharyngeal bulb base), vulva closed, anus hardly visible 1–3 annuli posterior to vulva. The new species can be distinguished based on their en face view pattern under scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the tail shapes. i.e. C. parainformis n. sp. has an ellipsoid oral disc, slightly fused pseudolips and tail ending in a bilobed terminus. C. geraerti n. sp. has a hexagonal oral disc, separated pseudolips, and a bluntly conoid tail. C. rotundicaudatus n. sp. has a rounded oral disc, well developed pseudolips, and a short broadly rounded tail. Besides detailed morphological studies using SEM, genomic and mitochondrial molecular data were obtained for the three described new species. In inferred phylogenies, these three species clustered with known Criconemoides species in 18S, 28S, ITS and coxI trees. Currently, only four known Criconemoides species occur in China and the discovery of the three new Criconemoides species in present study has increased our knowledge on the diversity of Criconemoides in China.

Three new species, T. denserectus Ma and Chen from Shaanxi Province, China: T. caputipunctatus Ma and Li from Shaanxi and Henan Provinces, China; and T. pesangulatus Ma and Li from Yunnan Province are described and illustrated. Abstract:The fauna of the genus Stenodynerus de Saussure, 1863 of China is supplemented with one new species and six new records, for a total of 30 recorded species. The new species, S. tongrenensis Zeng, Chen & Li, sp. nov ., is described and illustrated in detail from Guizhou (China). The six following species are newly recorded from China: S . coreanus (Tsuneki, 1970), S . difficilis (Morawitz, 1867), S. kaszabi Giordani Soika, 1976, S . punctifrons (Thomson, 1874), S . steckianus (von Schulthess, 1897), and S . trotzinai (Morawitz, 1895). An updated key to the Chinese species of Stenodynerus is given.

Abstract:Three genera with eyes setose of Braconinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), i.e. Chelonogastra Ashmead, Ectemnoplax Enderlein and Pycnobracon Cameron, are reported in China with five species recognized, one of them is new species: Ectemnoplax xizanginensis, sp. nov. The new species is described and illustrated in detail. Pycnobracon is reported from China for the first time. The type specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China (ZJUH).

Abstract:The genus Odontopsen Tsuneki was erected by Tsuneki (1964) as a subgenus of the genus Psen Latreille, 1796. Bohart and Menke (1976) raised it to an independent genus. The type species, O. hanedai (Tsuneki, 1964) was found in the Konsei-Pass Nikko, at about 2100 m altitude, in the mountains of central Honshu Island, Japan. No other species of this genus was found in the following almost half a century.

Abstract:One new genus and species, Paramacrosteles nigromaculatus gen. et sp. nov. of subfamily Euscelinae is described from China, and is placed in Macrostelini. The genus is similar to Macrosteles Fieber in general appearance, but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus at apex with two paired fork-shape projections. Abstract:Two new species of the genus Thelcticopis Karsch, 1884, T. dahanensis Zhu & Zhong, sp. nov. (♂) and T. unciformis Zhu & Zhong, sp. nov. (♂), are described and figured from Taiwan Island. Thelcticopis severa (L. Koch, 1875) is recorded from Guangdong and Fujian provinces for the first time. So far, Thelcticopis, including four species from China, is mainly distributed in the tropical or subtropical areas of China (Hainan, Taiwan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Fujian).
