Primary Investigation and and Exploitation Situations of Persimmon Germplasm Resources in Guilin City of Guangxi

Abstract:Guilin city is the biggest persimmon-producing area in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomic Region of China.It possesses abundant persimmon germplasm resources,due to its special geography and climate and long history of persimmon cultivation.The germplasm resource,exploitation and utilization conditions and the existing problems were studied based on the investigation and study on the germplasm resource and exploitation and utilization condition of persimmon in Guilin.Some corresponding measures were proposed to exploit and utilize the persimmon resources,in order to offer the theory basis for the exploitation and utilization,introduction and domestication,germplasm conservation and breeding of persimmon in Guilin.
