Changes of Land Use and Landscape Pattern in Shijiazhuang City Based on Remote Sensing

Abstract:Based on the RS images of Shijiazhuang City Landsat TM in 1993,2007 and Landsat ETM+ in 2000,information on land use in different periods is extracted,and changes in land use and landscape pattern of Shijiazhuang City are studied by FRAGSTATS toolbox.The main tendency of land use change was that the areas of cultivated land decreased greatly,the areas of water and construction land increased greatly,and the comprehensive land use index decreased slightly.From landscape structure study,the results show that patches numbers,patches density firstly increased,and then decreased,the landscape shape index,diversity index and the evenness increased,the largest patch index decreased.
