Engineering Ability Oriented Basic Mechabical Experimental Teaching

Abstract:With respect to the demands of engineering practice on experimental education of fundamental machinery,the authors believe that the ability of students in four aspects,namely proposal of problems,analyses,resolving and summarizing of those problems should be emphasized in the education of innovative engineers.An example of bearing experiment was presented to illustrate the promotion of the four abilities.The reformation methods of the course were discussed in terms of strengthening course content,innovation and active design of experiments,experimental devices of engineering and promotion of engineering background of tutors.
