The Research Situation and the Development Trend of TPMS

Abstract:TPMS can effectively prevent the tire blow-out accident which is caused by the low pressure.At the same time,TPMS can help the driver to maintain normal tire pressure,thus it can decrease this accident,reduce the fuel consumption,and decrease the emissions.Currently,TPMS can be classified into two styles,the direct TPMS and the indirect TPMS.The direct TPMS has a wide application,but its installation is very complex and costly,so the direct TPMS has limited space to develop.The indirect TPMS is receiving more and more attention.We can predict that the indirect TPMS will stand a dominant station and be integrated with the other electronic control modules in the vehicle in the near future.
