Utilization of One-stop Self-service Machine in Outpatient of Comprehensive Hospitals

Abstract:Basing on "people oriented" service concept,Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital investigated and studied the current situation of self-service system in large-scale hospitals,jointly developed outpatient "one-stop self-service machine" with China Construction Band and the third party payment platform and Integrated inquiry,appointment making,registration,payment,refunding,report printing and other functions as a whole.The outpatient process was optimized and reconstructed.Since the operation a year ago,the whole process of self-service machine can be completed within average 32 seconds and the waiting time has been shortened to 41 seconds,which,to a great degree,alleviated the phenomena of "three longs and one short".Considerable improvement in service quality and work efficiency was obtained and the overall satisfaction degree of 94.7% from patients in the outpatient was achieved.
