Abstract:With the methods of documentary data,expert interview,and comprehensive analysis,the research and protection of Olympic cultural legacy in China and other countries are generally set forth and then the suggestions about passing down and protecting Olympic cultural legacy are put forward.The research on passing down and protecting 2008 Olympic cultural legacy should be strengthened,in order to attract the attentions of government and all circles of society.The scientific system of attesting and evaluating Beijing Olympic cultural legacy should be set up and The Project of Attesting and Evaluating Beijing Olympic Cultural Legacy should be systematically carried out.The relative documentary data and materials should be well collected,packed up and reserved.The regulations about the registration and protection of Olympic material and non-material cultural legacy should be set down.
