Abstract:Because the limitations of traditional methods of tank liquid level measurement,convenient and effective measurement method needs to be researched eagerly.Tank liquid level measurement system based on thermal imager was designed.The system included hardware components and software design.The software is written in language C#.The software e components included image edge detection,feature points extraction,image registration,iamge mosaic,liquid level extraction and Access database's establish-ment. The experimental results showed that the non-contact and automatic measurement of the tank liquid level was implemented.
