Problems in Postgraduate Education of Clinical Medicine and Their Solutions —A Case Study at SUN Yat-Sen University

Abstract:Although it has trained a large number of high-quality professionals of clinical medicine since 1998,the SUN Yat-Sen University,like most other universities in China,still has many problems and challenges in its clinical medical training.A retrospective study was conducted on the postgraduate education of clinical medicine at the SUN Yat-Sen University by questionnaire surveys,case analysis,and expert discussions.Problems were identified and possible solutions were explored along with suggestions for policy making and implementation strategies for the purpose of improving the quality of programs in clinical medicine.
