Abstract:A software and a database for load modeling are developed with Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server. This paper introduces the components of load characteristic database and its tables. With kinds of querying and calling the real load parameters in database, it is helpful to analyze the relation of load characteristics and time. Practice has shown that the establishment of load characteristic database is of great significance to load analysis and stability calculation.

Abstract:The storage function of "Digital product modeling software based on product model groups"is implemented by using attribute mechanism and the AMFC components supported by ACIS.This paper elaborates on the method of constructing the application self-defining data by means of ACIS attribute mechanism.And it also introduces the API functions of reading or writing SAT file provided by ACIS.The storage method provides a new idea for storing the nongeometric product model information.

Abstract:The fast development of domestic auto part trade has put some new requirements on the sales and marketing management. Manyearly-developed management systems basedon the traditional technology are not sufficientto satisfy these new requirements. UML, as an expressive and powerful standard object-oriented modeling language, has been widely used in management information system. After analyzing the modeling functionalities of UML, an auto-parts-trade sales management system is proposed and implemented using UML as the modeling tool. This system has been deployed in some auto-part sales enterprises. The practice shows that it has greatly im- proved the sales management quality of the users.

Abstract:Two classical models in distributed environment,symmetrical cluster and unsymmetrical cluster,were introduced.Aiming at the problems in enterprise applications caused by the two models,a distributed model based on data partition was presented,and a new load balance algorithm based on database access was proposed.Two critical threshold values Dmax and VSRT in the algorithm could be obtained by testing and analysis.The model and the load balance mechanism benefit the system with good performance,high scalability and dynamic load balance.They were applied to a financial system which was reengineered from standalone legacy system into J2EE distributed environment.The system architecture based on data partition was implemented successfully and performed very well.

Abstract:According to the requirement of model management in collaborative simulation, it is investigated a 3-tiered architecture for model base based on CORBA. An improved object-oriented model representation is proposed using the combination of model dictionary and model structure. Model management techniques such as model version, configuration, manipulation are studied and realized. At last, an application example in vehicle attitude control is provided, and the validity of the methods above is proved.

Abstract:The techniques of model base management system were investigated. An improved object-oriented model representation is proposed using the combination of model dictionary and model structure. Model dictionary is used to store the model description information and model data abstract, while model structure encapsulates every parameter and operations of simulation models and descriptions of interface information. A 3-tiered architecture for model base based on CORBA is discussed in collaborative simulation. Model management techniques such as model version management, configuration, and manipulation are studied and realized. An application example in vehicle attitude control is provided. The results show that the methods in the paper are feasible and effective.

Abstract:To cope with the heterogeneity, cooperation and openness in collaborative design and simulation, we have studied the knowledge base technologie!s and their realization for collaborative environment. The traditional production- system-based knowledge bast? eonstruetion technology is developed after decades of research, bu4 it is not designed for collaborative design and simulation and does not support them very well. Considering this we bring forward an improved production-system-based knowledge expression method, which takes the advantages of the traditional method, uses semantic mapping table, borrows ideas from the objectsriented method, and combines the data mining and XML technologies to build the knowledge base system for colliaborative design and simulation.

Abstract:The necessity of developing enterprise-modeling system based on Internet/Intranet is emphasized in this paper. Aiming at the goal of this system , on the base of analyzing the characteristics of two typical developing tools, Java and C++, a plan of selecting developing tools is described. Then, A plan for solving the difficulty problem in system developing, the interface between Java and C++, is explained by the author through an example. Abstract:The design information provided by feature based modeling facilitates bridging the gap between engineering design and manufacturing. This paper, based on the feature modeling system ZD_MCADII, introduces the function requirements and general architecture of a modern CAD system, and proposes a scheme of combining geometric modeling with feature modeling, and combining feature based design with feature recognition. According to the new requirement for enterprise modeling of the modern enterprises and the characteristics of the running environment of enterprises today, a method for building a network based enterprise reference model library is presented in this paper. A software called NBRMS (Network Based Reference Model Library System) which is developed by us is presented. We made use of network technologies, distributed database and collaborative engineering in building the enterprise reference model library, which can be used in the setting, using and managing of the enterprise reference model library.

Abstract:The integration and reuse of models are the effective means to improve the efficiency of simulation modeling.Storage and retrieval of the models are the key technologies of integrating and reusing models.With investigating the methods of business process simulation modeling based on IDEF3,a database conception model was analyzed and designed so that the simulation models can be stored in a relational database and shared with mapping models.The methods how to retrieve a specific business process simulation model based on IDEF3 from a database was studied.A numerical algorithm for calculating simulation model similarity is proposed in which the basic elements,basic modules and total structure are taken into account synthetically.Finally,a supporting software package was developed.
