Abstract:Social engineering is a science on the research of various actual modes of social development.As far as social engineering is concerned,its law is the objective foundation of social engineering.The disciplinary characteristics are those for interdisciplinary sciences.The essence is the constructivist theory of society.The focal issue is to study the problems with the law of the generation of social facts or phenomena.The theoretical visual angle is that a society is understood as an idea of an overall society,that is,a society formed of an interconnection of economy,politics,culture,society,ecology,etc.The theoretical service orientation lies in social management.The important feature is the principle of the synthesis and integration methodology;the basic issue is to deal with the problems for the constraint,interaction,and synthesis of multi-dimensional laws,the diversity and integration of multiple values,the analysis and assessment of multiple situation elements,and the option and location of many ideas of social development.To develop the subject of social engineering is to meet the needs of implementing the scientific outlook on development,and building a harmonious society.
