Abstract:This paper, on one hand, theoretically analyses the necessity of government intervention in science and technology achievements transformation because of market failures; on the other hand, gives concrete examples of some foreign countries' successful actions in science and technology achievements transformation, which also supports that our government should play roles in it. However, government also should understand the principle of ″do some things, and leave some things undone″. On the basis of the above discussion, finally the paper explored the roles of our government in science and technology achievement transformation.
