Abstract:The title compound, C(10)H(9)N(5)O(2)center dot C2H6O,was synthesized by the reaction of 3-hydrazino-1H-1,2,4-triazole with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde in ethanol. Abstract:In the title compound, C(25)H(21)N(5)O(3)S·CH(2)Cl(2), the dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecule is disordered over four positions, with an occupancy ratio of 0.271 (3):0.3884 (18):0.298 (2):0.0424 (15). The 1,2,4-triazole ring makes dihedral angles of 47.3 (2)/87.3 (2) and 3.6 (2)° with the phenyl and nitro-phenyl rings, respectively. An intra-molecular C-H⋯S hydrogen bond results in the formation of an almost planar six-membered ring [r.m.s. derivation = 0.0051 (2) Å]. Inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonding consolidates the structure.

Abstract:The crystal structure of 5-nitro-4-salicylideneamino-3-methyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-thione ([C 10 H 9N 5O 3S]·HCON(CH 3) 2, M r=352.38)(CCDC No. 216094) was determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method. The crystal belongs to a triclinic system, the space group is P1 with unit cell constants a= 0.6113(2) nm, b=1.0836(4) nm, c=1.3132(5) nm, α=74.523(7)°, β=117.68(3)°, γ= 79.769(7)°, V=0.8245(5) nm 3, Z=2, D c=1.419 g/cm 3, μ=0.228 mm -1 , F(000)=368, R and wR are 0.0579 and 0.1040, respectively, beasd on 3348 unique reflections of which 1925 reflections were observed[I2σ(I)]. The results indicate that the title compound can be assigned to the thione tautomeric form rather than the thiol tautomeric form. It contains a five membered triazole ring and a phenyl ring with a dihedral angle of 4.35°. The intermolecular hydrogen bond N3_H3…S1, O1_H1…O4 can be observed.

Abstract:The crystal structure of 4-salicylideneamino-3-methyl-1,2,4-triazol-5-thione 1 (C10H10N4OS, M-r = 234.28) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n with a = 12.697(3), b = 7.4072(15), c = 12.750(3) Angstrom, beta = 117.68(3)degrees, V = 1061.85(4) Angstrom(3), Z = 4, D-c = 1.465 g/cm(3), mu = 0.288 mm(-1) and F(000) = 488. R = 0.0584 and wR = 0.1642 for 2660 unique reflections with 2130 observed ones (I > 2sigma(I)). The results confirmed that the configuration of the title compound at the azomethine C=N bond is E and I can be assigned as the thione tautomeric form. All atoms of the title compound are essentially coplanar.

Abstract:The crystal structure of 1-[(1'-phenyl-5'-methyl-4'-pyrazolcarbonyl)]-3-methyl thio-5-amino-1H-yl-1,2,4-triazole (C14H14N6OS, Mr = 314.37) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal belongs to triclinic, space group P with a = 8.026(3), b = 8.651(4), c = 11.369(5) (A), α = 89.917(7), β= 89.084(7), γ = 68.470(6)°, V = 734.2(5) (A)3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.422 g/cm3, ( = 0.232 mm-1, F(000) = 328, R = 0.0376 and wR = 0.0890 for 2950 unique reflections. The crystal structure shows the presence of a dimmer with intermolecular N(4)-H(4)…N(3A) hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:The main molecule of the title compound, C(45)H(30)N(6)center dot CH(3)OH, has a non-planar core: the dihedral angles between the benzimidazole rings and the central benzene ring are 20.19 (10), 34.57 (8), and 44.59 (8)degrees, while the dihedral angles between the peripheral phenyl rings and the attached benzimidazole rings are 84.57 (7), 62.71 (6) and 51.73 (6)degrees. The tri-substituted benzene molecule is connected to the methanol solvent molecule through an O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond, forming a 1: 1 solvate. In the crystal structure, no significant pi-pi interactions are present, and the molecules are associated through weak C-H center dot center dot center dot N and C-H center dot center dot center dot O(methanol) contacts.

Abstract:Five 4-salicylideneamino-3-methyl-1,2,4-triazol-5-thiones (IIa) were synthesized and characterized by IR and 1H NMR methods. The crystal structure of 4-salicylideneamino-3-methyl-1,2,4-triazol-5-thione (IIa) (C_ 10H_ 10N_4OS, Mr=234.28) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. It belongs to monoclinic crystal structure. The space group is P2_1/n with unit cell constants a=1.269?7(3), b=0.740?7(15), c=1.275?0(3)nm, β=1.176?8(3)°,V=1.061?85(4)(nm)3, Z=4,D_c=1.465?g/cm3,μ=0.288?mm -1, F(000)=488, and R and wR are 0.058 and 0.164 respectively for 2?660 unique reflections with 2?130 observed reflections (I2σ(I)). The results prove that the the azomethine CN bond configuration of the title compound is E and IIa could be assigned to the thione tautomeric form rather than the thiol form. All the non-hydrogen atoms of the title compound are essentially coplanar.
