PENSION MODEL AND PENSION FACILITIES PLANNING BASED ON THE “CONTINUUM OF CARE” CONCEPT

Abstract:The paper compares and analyses the domestic and international theories and practical experiences of services for the old people,and proposes a for-the-old service research framework of "pension model,old-age service system,pension facilities" system,based on surveys in Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou.The community's oldage home care as the main mode is demonstrated as the development orientation.According to the "continuum of care" concept,a pension system with long-term care facilities as the core part is built.Furthermore,a systematic and operational plan of configuration standard for pension facilities of Zhejiang Province is formulated.
