Abstract:The variation characteristic of traction feeder nonmetal short current,especially arcing short current,and the charge current which locomotive crosses the power-off area were analyzed.The main protection judgement for starting component test was rise rate of current.Aiming at the above characteristic,it was proposed that current cumulative-sum monitoring was used as protection judgement.The protection scheme for metro DC feeder was implemented by combining the both.The microcomputer-based feeder protection device based on the proposed scheme was developed.
