Thinking on the Manufacturing Industry of Electronics and Information in Shanghai with Enlightenment out of the Experiences of Shenzhen's IT Industry and Taiwan's IC Industry

Abstract:The manufacturing industry of electronics and information is one among the six major manufacturing industries in Shanghai,whose further development is contained by certain obstacles such as lack of innovative capacity,high cost of doing business,and government services deficiency,etc.Having analyzed the development experiences of Shenzhen's IT industry and Taiwan's IC industry,the authors give the prescription in detail for the local manufacturing industry of electronics and information in a bid to promote the industrial transformation and upgrading.
