Abstract:Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is Chinese traditional medicine,and it is one of the important content of medical cultural quality edu-cation.In the face of students of eight years program of clinical medicine,how to realize the mutual penetration and complementary between tradi-tional and modern medicine is an important subj ect in front of TCM Teaching .In order to make the teaching mode and teaching content more rea-sonable,heighten student's interestes in learning TCM,and strengthen the medical knowledge,the author puts forward a series of reform meas-ures on TCM teaching.
Investigation in current curriculum system and regulation requirement of preventive medicine undergraduate major

Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyse the program objective and curriculum system of preventive medicine undergraduate major,and provide basis for the curriculum system reform. Methods Two hundred and twenty-five medical professionals or teachers in Shanghai were investigated with questionnaires,which were concerned with aspects of program objective,curriculum system,teaching contents and teaching methods of preventive medicine undergraduate major.Results 63.6% of participants believed that the current program objective of preventive medicine undergraduate major could meet the actual demand of public health undertakings,and 44.4% pointed out that 40% to 60% of knowledge learned from colleges could be utilized in work.83.6% of participants recommended to adopt an integrated design of experiment,91.5 % agreed to open more optional courses,55.1% proposed to go on a field trip to Center for Disease Control or Department of Health Supervision for at least 6 months,more than 60% suggested to offer courses such as community medicine,communication and behavioral science,91.6% advised to participate in the field investigations,and 87.6% and 67.1% offered to enrich the classes with case analysis and multimedia,respectively. Conclusion The program objective and curriculum system of preventive medicine undergraduate major should be regulated to fit the changes in medical modes and effectively solve the problems of public health.

Abstract:Occupational health science is an applied course within the preventive medicine.The teaching object is high grade students who will choose to do further study on a discipline of preventive medicine or to graduate for work.Thus teaching reform should focus on increasing students' interest in learning and training students' practical ability for application of knowledge.This study took undergraduate of preventive medicine as subjects,summarized the reforms in classroom teaching and experiment teaching of occupational health science in Peking University.The reforms in teaching content and teaching method were introduced.The effects of teaching reform and students' preference were evaluated through a questionnaire survey of students' satisfaction.The existing problems in the process of the implementation of teaching reform were analyzed.This study will provide useful ideas and experiences for carrying out a better teaching reform in the future.

Abstract:Improving the teaching quality of higher education has become the core task and strategic focus in China.This study took five-year undergraduate of preventive medicine as subjects,tried to reform teaching methods of environmental health science curriculum,and student-centered teaching methods was implemented.This paper sumamrizes the merit and deficiency of this teaching method,in order to better facilitate the future reform of teaching ideas and experiences.

Abstract:This paper discusses the two major problems in the teaching process of the basic science of traditional Chinese medicine. One of the problems is that most of the students have learned the course of traditional Chinese medicine in previous colleges and universities, and they are familiar with the theoretical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine. Students who follow the traditional teaching model will encounter many repetitive teaching contents, which will make the students feel unmotivated. The second problem is that the students come from different majors, different grades, and different regions, so their background and foundation of traditional Chinese medicine are uneven. According to the above problems, combined with the characteristics of students’ learning conditions, this study discusses the reform of the teaching of the basic science of Chinese medicine, including the integration of teaching materials, improving teaching methods, and putting forward some reform ideas such as hierarchical teaching guidance, which is of great significance for improving the quality of education.

Abstract:Great changes have taken place in the ranks of physical education teachers, especially in recent years, the reform of educational system has created favorable conditions for the development of physical education teachers. This paper analyzes the current situation of physical education in China, and concludes the existing defects, and puts forward corresponding improvement measures. For the reform of physical education, physical education teachers should arrange more content of students’ interest, strengthen the training of students’ will quality, improve the quality of classroom teaching, and cultivate qualified personnel needed by the society. The task of physical education in Colleges needs to be realized through many kinds of goals, which can improve students’ interest and promote the enthusiasm of students to participate in sports learning actively. Abstract:In order to cultivate high quality medical talents with innovative ability in new century,a medical education reform program called "the new pathway" was formulated in Peking University Health Science Center.Basic medical experiment teaching reform is an important part of "the New Pathway" reform.In this paper,it was introduced detailed the reform ideas and practice of "the new pathway" of basic medical experiment teaching from the aim of experimental teaching,designing of experimental teaching and questions in experimental teaching.The teachers and students were generally satisfied with the new experimental curriculum system after two years of practice.The innovation experimental curriculum revolutionise traditional experimental teaching model,and build a new basic medical experiment teaching system which can strengthen discipline merging,focus on training students' scientific thinking skills and emphasize cultivation of innovation ability.

Abstract:By comparing the syllabus of TCM medical practitioners examination and teaching syllabus of Chinese medical science,we intended to find the differences between the two.Then we adjusted and revised the teaching syllabus of Chinese internal medicine,changed teaching concepts,reformed teaching methods and improved the teaching level so as to raise the passing rate of practitioners and lay a solid foundation for training qualified TCM personnel.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the perception and attitude of medical teaching reform among eight-year program medical students,and to explore the feasibility of involving students in medical teaching reform system.MethodsBy adopting self-designed measuring scale,a total of 233 eight-year program medical students of grade 2003 in Peking University Health Science Center were surveyed with self-administered anonymous questionnaire.Results 51.5% of the students preferred combining Proldem-based Learning(PBL) rather than traditional teaching methods.47.2% of them suggested test scores should not be the sole evaluation criterion.And more than half of the students admitted the significant effect of early-stage clinical(52.8%)and research(53.0%)practice.82.4% of them confirmed the important role that students played in teaching reform;44.6% of the respondents expressed their willingness to join in teaching reform.Conclusion The students should be taken part in teaching reform.And creativeness and enthusiasm of students should be aroused in order to bring a series of benign development in it.

Abstract:By recruiting medical undergraduates of a university in Shanghai as study subjects,we conducted a double-blind questionnaire to analyze the students'class performance and their overall opinion of the curriculum and teaching mode in order to find out problems in undergraduate medical teaching and the students'needs during learning.Then we propose constructive suggestions for teaching mode and assessment policy to promote teaching reformation and raise teachers'enthusiasm for teaching and students'initiative in learning.

Abstract:To fulfill the object of promoting the development and reform of the experiment teaching in the sports colleges and universities,it is highly demanded that some relevant researches should be made.With the experimental teaching on exercise physiology as the research objects,a large number of surveys have been carried out,and the analysis and study on the present situation of the experiment have been made with 28 sports colleges and universities as samples.The results show that the deficient of the investment on the experiment,the aging of the experimental instruments,as well as the course contents unable to advance at the same pace with the time all together contribute to the problems today.Finally,a strategy aiming at solving those problems has been given.

Abstract:Objective To describe relevant policy requirements of school health personnel issued by the State and the status of school health teachers,and to provide basis and data information for formulating the basic standards of school health teachers.Methods By using literature review,quantitative research and qualitative research,an investigation on the basic situations of health personnel was carried out in primary and secondary schools in China.Results Related policy required every 600 students with one full-time health profession,but literature reviews and field surveys showed that most schools had not met this requirement.The quality of health personnel was not high,the instability of the team was 42.6%,job was complex,promotion was difficult,57.7% of health professionals thought that they had lower treatment than that of average teacher,66.7% of health professionals worked 8-14 hours everyday and the training mechanisms was not perfect.Conclusion It should to increase the number of health professionals,strengthen health team and standardized management,and improve the situations of living and working so as to ensure the overall quality of health professionals to meet the school health development needs.

Abstract:Objective To explore the ways to improve the learning effect of medical imaging for clinical medical students by timely improving the teaching time,adjusting the teaching time,and adopting diversified teaching methods.Methods Theoretical Test,Film Reading Skill Test and questionnaire were used to compare and analyze the learning differences of clinical medical students after the reform teaching mode and traditional teaching mode.Results The scores of theoretical test,film Reading Skill Test and self-made questionnaire were higher after the reform of teaching model than those of the control group when there is no significant difference in the teaching force.Conclusion It is possible to improve the clinical students'theoretical achievements,reading skills,learning effects and combine the probation teaching with the clinical course by raising the probation teaching time timely,adjusting the probation teaching time and adopting diversified teaching methods.The reform of teaching model made students fully digest,deepening,integration clinical and imaging knowledge.The reform of teaching model made students better services to patients.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the perceptions of,attitudes,and towards needs for school health education among the education administrators in China.Methods An in depth interview was conducted with seventeen administrators of education bereaus /commissions of 12 cities/districts/counties in 6 provinces.Results It was known that relevant regulations had been issued by administrative sectors in charge of education.Most of the schools had brought school health education into their teaching plans and offered courses of health education.The most major problems confronting school health education included the fact that the school leaders failed to pay sufficient attention to school health education,shortage of teachers,lack of teaching time and deficiency of teaching aids.The education administrators considered that it is necessary to establish health education course in both primary and middle schools,and the implementation of relevant regulations should be strengthened.They showed their willingness to receive training in health education.Conclusion Most of the education administrators in China have realized the importance of school health education.There are still a lot of difficulties to be overcome in this field

Abstract:Objective To aim at the deficiencies of existing assessment methods,and put forward ideas,methods and contents to reform experimental course assessment methods for undergraduates.Methods All of the fifth-grade preventive medicine undergraduates were divided into experimental group (n=34) and control group(n=31),reformed and conventional assessment methods were used in experimental group and control group respectively.The difference in attendance,experimental skill and reports were compared between two groups.Results Attendance,test scores and experimental skill scores of students in experimental group were significantly higher than that in control group and compared with the control group students (P＜0,05),the experimental group students' understanding on the experimental principle,phenomena and data analysis were better.Conclusion Reformed assessment methods of experimental course has an improved effect on teaching for undergraduates.
