Applying PBL Teaching Pattern to the Course of Electrical Engineering

Abstract:PBL(problem-based learning) is a kind of self-directed learning pattern.This paper elaborates the practicing methods and procedures during constantly applying PBL teaching pattern in Electrical Engineering course.It provides the teaching theory and practice frame for taking advantage of PBL pattern after combining feedback information from students with tutor experience and conclusion.In the end,this paper compares the advantages and drawbacks of PBL pattern and conventional teaching and learning pattern in China,and gives suggest on how to adapt PBL pattern to Chinese education system and methodology.
