Abstract:In recent years, computer technology has developed rapidly especially the reconfigurable computing devices and related technology. This makes the related computer courses are confronted with an enormous challenge. With great importance attached to cultivating students' system ability, this paper makes teaching researches using EDA technologies through application of both software and hardware then apply them to the actual teaching practice. The courses are organized as the course group which can be extended through adding related courses for aimed major. And at the same time we have established a systematic and progressive experiment system. Consequently, students can deepen their understanding of the computer system, improve their ability to address practical problems and thus develop their over-all ability.

Abstract:Object-oriented programming is the core professional course offered by artificial intelligence major in most colleges and universities. As an important compulsory programming course, how to let the students quickly master complex abstract grammar knowledge, have good practical coding ability, and to apply their knowledge to analyze and solve basic problems in the field of artificial intelligence, need scientific and effective exploration and practice for the teaching mode. Abstract:As an important course in computer education in higher education, the programming basic course has problems in teaching and learning. The role of teachers is knowledge imparters. And the teaching methods despise students’ development. Students often have fears and difficulties in their study, which is not conducive to build their computer application ability and computational thinking. In view of the teaching status quo and existing problems of the programming basic course, this paper proposes to use SPOC blended teaching mode to clarify the role of teachers and students, to develop an interactive teaching mode, to adopt case teaching, to enrich SPOC resources. And we provide students with timely feedback, and change the evaluation methods and other aspects. Through these reforms, we found that students’ ability to read and write programs have been improved. The quality of teaching, and the cultivation of computational thinking are improved.

Abstract:Advanced Language Program (C language) is a required basic course of computer technology for science and engineering majors at Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. In order to improve students’ abilities of computational thinking, mathematical modeling, algorithm design, problem analysis and solution, this paper puts forward a C language curriculum reform oriented to the deep integration of the professional fields of the lecturers in view of the current C language teaching and experiment without considering the professional characteristics of the lecturers. Taking electronic information science as an example, the C language course plan related to the subsequent courses is designed according to the major characteristics of the students in class 2020. Compared with the final scores of 2018 and 2019, it can be found that the program is conducive to improving students’ interest in learning, deepening their understanding of the theoretical knowledge of the course, improving their ability of programming practice and deep integration with the professional field.

Abstract:Programming language (PL) is an important preliminary undergraduate course for computer-related major. In this paper, our teaching idea as well as the corresponding construction approach on this course is proposed. Firstly, the similar courses of some top oversea universities are investigated and discussed; Then, taking account of Chinese students' actual condition and based on several years' teaching practice, the paper argues that the main objective of the course should be to induce the students to grasp the essences of the programming, rather than fall into the trivial details of some specific programming language. Based on this idea, some considerations and concrete teaching approaches are presented, including the division of course contents and teaching sequences, high level case-based teaching by utilizing the open-source platforms of “Robocode” and “Karel world”; Furthermore, the elaborate designing of the course project can also embody our teaching methodology and greatly arouse the interest of the students. The results of the teaching practice show that our teaching idea and methodology on the course is promising.

Abstract:The research-based teaching thinking is applied to the C++ programming course teaching, combined with the FKM teaching method, the rapid acquisition of knowledge combine with knowledge exploration and research thinking, maximize the ability to cultivate innovative ability in classroom teaching. In the explanation of each knowledge point, start with deep logical thinking; first teach each chapter of knowledge points with the procedure-oriented idea, through the point - connection network - expansion - scheme and other steps will be knowledge points through macro-structure and micro-interpretation. And then feedback the object-oriented knowledge, each knowledge point is the center of the class to form the FKM map of the C++ curriculum object-oriented knowledge. The abstract knowledge to the image intuitive, in line with the logic of thinking way of teaching, let the students out of the tedious grammar study, and then asks questions to inspire. The knowledge points in the book are regarded as the unknown fields, and the students are guided by the research thinking to rethink the knowledge points, to find out the problems, and to assist the research methods in order to cultivate the ability to solve problems.
