Abstract:The title compound, [Ni(NCS)(C6H6N4S2)(CH4O)]Cl, consists of an Ni-II complex cation and a Cl- anion. The Ni-II complex has an octahedral coordination, with the isothiocyanate and methanol ligands in cis positions. The diaminobithiazole ligands are each nearly planar, but the Ni-II atom is out of the planes of the thiazole rings, the deviations ranging from 0.113 (5) to 0.389 (4) Angstrom.

Abstract:The title complex, [Cu3(C9H8BrNO4S)2(C7H4BrO2)2(C10H8N2)2]·H2O, lies on an inversion center located on the central Cu atom, which is four-coordinated in a square-planar geometry, whereas the outer Cu atoms related by symmetry are five-coordinated in a square-pyramidal geometry. The trinuclear mol-ecules, with an intramolecular Cu⋯Cu separation of 6.313 (3) Å, are linked to each other, forming a chain through O - H⋯O and O - H⋯Br hydrogen bonds involving the half-occupied water mol-ecule. Futhermore, weak C - H⋯O inter-actions link the chains to form a supra-molecular network.

Abstract:The title complex, [CuCl2(C6H6N4S2)], has a flattened tetrahedral coordination. The Cu-II atom is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by two N atoms from a chelating 2,2'-diamino-4,4'-bi-1,3-thiazole ligand and by two Cl atoms. Intramolecular hydrogen bonding exists between the amino groups of the 2,2'-diamino-4,4'-bi-1,3-thiazole ligand and the Cl atoms. The intermolecular separation of 3.425 (1) Angstrom between parallel bithiazole rings suggests there is a pi-pi interaction between them.

Abstract:In the title compound, [Zn(C(4)H(5)O(2))Cl(C(6)H(6)N(4)S(2))]·H(2)O, the Zn(II) cation is coordinated by a bidentate diamino-bithia-zole (DABT) ligand, a but-2-enoate anion and a Cl(-) anion in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. Within the DABT ligand, the two thia-zole rings are twisted to each other at a dihedral angle of 4.38 (10)°. An intra-molecular N-H⋯O inter-action occurs. The centroid-centroid distance of 3.6650 (17) Å and partially overlapped arrangement between nearly parallel thia-zole rings of adjacent complexes indicate the existence of π-π stacking in the crystal structure. Extensive O-H⋯Cl, O-H⋯O, N-H⋯Cl and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding helps to stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the title compound, [ZnCl2(C9H7N)(2)], the ZnII cation is coordinated by two Cl- anions and two isoquinoline ligands in a distorted ZnCl2N2 tetrahedral geometry; the two isoquinoline ring systems are twisted with respect to each other at a dihedral angle of 45.72 (8)degrees. The parallel isoqiunoline ring systems of adjacent molecules are partially overlapped, with the shorter face-to-face distance of 3.438 (19) A indicating the existence of weak pi-pi stacking in the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the title ZnII complex, [Zn(C2H4NO 2)2(C6H6N4S 2)]·2H2O, the ZnII ion is coordinated by two glycinate anions and a diaminobithiazole (DABT) molecule in a distorted octahedral geometry. Two thiazole rings of the same DABT are twisted with respect to each other with a dihedral angle of 10.56 (6)°. The glycinate chelates to the ZnII ion by the amino N and carboxylate O atoms; the chelating five-membered ring displays an envelope configuration. Abstract:The title compound, [Cu(C(4)H(4)O(5))(C(6)H(6)N(4)S(2))].H(2)O, displays a square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The tridentate oxydiacetate dianion chelates the Cu(II) atom in the facial mode. The large difference [0.487 (4) A] between the longest Cu-O distance in the basal plane and that in the apical direction correlates with the small displacement of the Cu(II) atom [0.0576 (13) A] from the basal plane towards the apex of the square pyramid. The intermolecular hydrogen-bonding network results in a closely overlapped arrangement of the coordination basal plane and the thiazole ring of a neighboring molecule.

In the complex, the Cu(II) atom is four-coordinated by two O and two N atoms from the two Schiff base ligands, 2-[3-(diethylamino)propyliminiomethyl]-5-methoxyphenolate, forming a distorted square-planar coordination. Abstract:The CuII atom of the title complex, [Cu(C16H 12ClNO3)(C3H4N2)]. H 2O, has a distorted square-planar coordination geometry formed by a tridentate Schiff base dianion and an imidazole ligand. The imidazole is nearly coplanar with the coordination plane, the dihedral angle between the planes being 3.73 (12)°. In the Schiff base ligand, the two benzene rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 75.87 (12)°. O - H⋯O and N - H⋯O hydrogen bonding is present in the crystal structure. One H atom of the uncoordinated water molecule is disordered equally over two sites. © 2010.

Abstract:The title complex, [Cu(C13H9Cl2N2O)(NCS)]n, is a novel thiocyanate-bridged polynuclear copper(II) compound. The CuII atom is five-coordinated in a square-pyramidal configuration, with one O and two N atoms of one Schiff base ligand and one terminal N atom of a bridging thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane, and one terminal S atom of another bridging thiocyanate ligand occupying the axial position. The [2,4-dichloro-6-(pyridin-2-ylmethyliminomethyl)phenolato]copper(II) moieties are linked by the bridging thiocyanate ligands, forming polymeric chains running along the a axis.
