Experimental study on preparing inclusion compound of volatile oil of Yinchen and Baishu by the ultrasonic method

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To determine the best preparation technology of β-cyclodextrin inclusion compound for volatile oil of Yinchen and Baishu by the ultrasonic method.METHODS The rate of inclusion and oiling-bearing from the inclusion was taken as inspecting index to study the conditions for the inclusion process by orthogonal test.RESULTSThe optimal inclusion procedure was as follows: the proportion of volatile oil and β-cyclodextrin was 1∶4,the proportion of β-cyclodextrin and water was 1∶10,inclusion time was 45 min,inclusion rate was 78.9%,the rate of oiling-bearing from the inclusion was 87.6%.CONCLUSIONS The inclusion process is effective,which can be used for production of inclusion complex in the factory.
