Structural Reform on Supply and Demand sides and Medium and High speed Growth of Chinese Economy

Abstract:In 2015,China’s GDP growth fell to 6.9%,making the lowest in the recent 25 years,while consumption contribution rate is 66.4%,the highest record in the recent 15 years;on one hand,economic overcapacity,growth momentum and support is limited;on the other hand,120 million overseas travel and 15 trillion yuan consumption goes outward,then the combination of them reflecting the lack of effective supply,structural imbalance,and mismatch between supply and demand are the main source as to China’s economy slowdown. Thus,strengthening supply side structural reforms,mining consumption potential of the demand side,promoting structural reform on both sides of supply and demand in balance,all of whichare not only the inherent logic of internal and external situation,policy intention,internal impetus and implementation opportunity,but the growth realistic problem urgently to be solved under the new normal. What’s more,it is the inevitable choice to develop China’s economy steadily,healthily and sustainably.
