Evaluation of clinical pharmacists' anticoagulation education on the patients

Abstract:To evaluate the effect of clinical pharmacist's anticoagulation education on the cardiac valve replacement's patients anticoagulant therapy knowledge.65 cases of patients who were performed heart valve replacement procedure were trained by individual education and self-education with handbook by clinical pharmacists.The results show that the average test scores was (9.05±0.84) after education and higher than before education(P<0.01),The anticoagulant knowledge were improved.The patient's education is one of the important factors to affect the patient's anticoagulant knowledge.Therefore,it confirmed that clinical pharmacists' anticoagulant education is an important way for the heart valve replacement patients to learn anticoagulative knowledge.There is a good result for those patients who received anticoagulation education.
