Discussion on Cultivation of the Creative and Practical Ability for Materials Specialty Students

Abstract:Based on the characteristics of materials specialty,a viewpoint on cultivating the creative and practical ability of college student and a concept on capacity cultivating as the key role in the teaching activity were proposed.We described the relationship of experimental teaching and material discipline innovation for talents training,and discussed the ideas and approaches to explore the creative and practical ability for the students major in materials.A principle for selecting and setting the topic of the experimental innovation projects was proposed and combined with the research projects.To instruct the student to apply the projects,we set up an innovative experimental material design course.From the aspects of implement,management and protection of the innovative projects,we described the effect of innovative experiment on cultivating the creative and practical ability and quality education.
