Abstract:In the paper,association rules and the principle of Apriori algorithm are analyzed.A new Apriori algorithm has been designed for solving the choke point of Apriori algorithm.The new algorithm finds out frequent intemset directly,which has the most count of itemset.The amount of data scanned is decreased sharply,especially when we only pay attention to frquent itemset with the most count and spare data.We carry on an experiment onthe new algorithm.As a results,the efficiency of the new algorithm is raised,and along with the performance is improved.

Abstract:In order to improve the shortcomings of the original dynamic association rule(DAR for short),this paper presents a new kind of DAR,which can reflect the dynamic information of rule with time better.Its defintions of support vector and confidence vector are accord with the classical defintions of support and confidence.Two new mining algorithms are also provided,which are ITS algorithm and EFP-growth algorithm.ITS algorithm has two stages,and can be well comprehended.EFP-growth algorithm is based on extended FP-tree and suitable for large volumes of data with high density.The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance and is fit for mining DARs.

Abstract:Mining association rules are an important data mining problem. In this paper ,an association rules mining algorithm,ARDBSO,which is based on set operation,is given. It can find all large itemsets in the database while only scan the database once. So,the time for I/O is reduced enormously and the efficiency of ARDBSO is improved. The experiments show that the efficiency of ARDBSO is 80～ 150times of Apriori's.

Abstract:This dissertation proposes a new algorithm of distributed mining association rules using the improved Apriori algorithm, based on analyses and introduction of the basic concepts and algorithms of mining association rules and mining association rules in distributed databases. Using improved Apriori algorithm to directly produce all of local frequent itemset in each crunode, rather than iteratively selecting candidate itemset. Then gather all of local multifarious itemset to broadcast to the general node, producing the global frequent itemset of association rules. In the process, the data is no longer saved with the affair ID as the key word. We take the item ID as the new key word. The performance of the improved Apriori algorithm has been improved through cutting down the store space. While the general node gathers all of local frequent itemset to select the global frequent itemset, it needs only a broadcast probably, needing three broadcasts worst. This raised the efficiency of the new algorithm of Association Rules in Distributed Database System.

Abstract:As a fundamental data mining task, frequent pattern mining has widespread applications in many different domains. Concept lattice is a very useful formal analysis tool. There is a one-to-one correspondence between concept intensions and frequent itemsets. Abundant literature has been conducted in-depth research in mining frequent itemsets and association rules based on the concept lattice. Most of them, however, did not take into account the differences of attributes when building concept lattice. In this paper, we present a new concept called discriminative attributes (discriminative intension). Every attributes has different discriminative power (DISP). In the process of building concept lattice, we can remove the attributes of low discriminative power, then speed up the step of constructing lattice. Furthermore, there has been a new method to calculate the DISP and reset the value under some conditions, but scan the database on each layer, which reduce the times of scanning the database, then decrease the time to generate association rules.

Abstract:The running speed of traditional auxiliary pattern design system which can extract association rules from silk relics database with Apriori algorithm is very low. In this paper, a rare common frequent pattern growth (RCFP-growth) algorithm is proposed to extract the association rules from silk relics database which has the obvious characteristics of imbalance, big data and specific mining target by the user in the auxiliary pattern design system. It contributes to the obvious reduction of the memory and time costs for association rules mining in the system compared to the Apriori algorithm and frequent pattern growth (FP-growth) algorithm. Some pattern designs with RCFP-growth algorithm are shown.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem that the traditional association rules mining algorithm has been unable to meet the mining needs of large amount of data in the aspect of efficiency and scalability,take Apriori as an example,the algorithm is realized in the parallelization based on Hadoop framework and MapReduce model. On the basis,it is improved using the transaction reduce method for further enhance-ment of the algorithm's mining efficiency. The experiment,which consists of verification of parallel mining results,comparison on effi-ciency between serials and parallel,variable relationship between mining time and node number and between mining time and data a-mounts,is carried out in the mining results and efficiency by Hadoop clustering. Experiments show that the paralleled Apriori algorithm implemented is able to accurately mine frequent item sets,with a better performance and scalability. It can be better to meet the require-ments of big data mining and efficiently mine frequent item sets and association rules from large dataset.

Abstract:With the development of the era of big data, data information is used more and more in life, and the application of data analysis is more and more extensive. The algorithm of data mining and association analysis are to find some internal relations in a large number of data sets. Although big data has brought abundant information and knowledge, its complexity in scale, rapid growth, diversity in forms and low value density have also brought severe challenges to traditional data processing technology. Therefore, there is an urgent need for big data processing technology to adapt to the big data environment. Based on the analysis of association rules and the principles of the Apriori algorithm, this article proposes an improved algorithm for improving the performance of the Apriori algorithm in the case of large data volumes, in order to address the drawbacks of the system's I/O load and CPU computational pressure caused by the large number of transactions when the Apriori algorithm scans the database. Using the Apriori algorithm to study the association rules of these data, in order to conduct reasonable analysis of the correlation between the data. Thus, the product interest set corresponding to the user's personality can be excavated. Realize the accuracy of individual product recommendations and bundled product recommendations, enhance the influence of the client, stimulate consumer purchasing desire, and achieve maximum profit.

Apriori_Goal algorithm for constructing association rules for a database with a given classification

Abstract:An efficient algorithm, Apriori_Goal, is proposed for constructing association rules for a relational database with a given classification. The algorithm's features are related to the specifics of the database and the method of encoding its records. The algorithm proposes five criteria that characterize the quality of the rules being constructed. Different criteria are also proposed for filtering the sets used when constructing association rules. The proposed method of encoding records allows for an efficient implementation of the basic operation underlying the computation of rule characteristics. The algorithm works with a relational database, where the columns can be of different types, both continuous and discrete. Among the columns, a target discrete column is distinguished, which defines the classification of the records. This allows the original database to be divided into $n$ subsets according to the number of categories of the target parameter. A classical example of such databases is medical databases, where the target parameter is the diagnosis established by doctors. A preprocessor, which is an important part of the algorithm, converts the properties of the objects represented by the columns of the original database into binary properties and encodes each record as a single integer. In addition to saving memory, the proposed format allows the complete preservation of information about the binary properties representing the original record. More importantly, the computationally intensive operations on records, required for calculating rule characteristics, are performed almost instantly in this format using a pair of logical operations on integers.

Abstract:The student early warning is a type of the problem that involves intelligence factor and non-intelligence factor and indetermination factor, the challenge lies in ascertaining early-warning factor. In this paper, basing on analyzing association rule and the principle of Apriori algorithm, a new Apriori algorithm has been designed for solving complexity of predictors in an early warning system of college students. At first, make sure the count K of item gathering the largest frequent itemset. Then directly make the largest frequent itemset LK by the items, whose count of item is larger than K or equal to K. We can acquire the k-1、k-2 frequent itemset with the same method. We carry on an experiment on the new algorithm. As a result, the efficiency of the new Algorithm is raised obviously. And along with data quantity aggrandizement, the time consumed changes inconspicuously. That is to say the algorithm keeps very high efficiency.

Abstract:This study explored the global cyberspace security issues, with the purpose of breaking the stereotype of people’s cognition of cyberspace problems, which reflects the relationship between interdependence and association. Based on the Apriori algorithm in association rules, a total of 181 strong rules were mined from 40 target websites and 56,096 web pages were associated with global cyberspace security. Moreover, this study analyzed support, confidence, promotion, leverage, and reliability to achieve comprehensive coverage of data. A total of 15,661 sites mentioned cyberspace security-related words from the total sample of 22,493 professional websites, accounting for 69.6%, while only 735 sites mentioned cyberspace security-related words from the total sample of 33,603 non-professional sites, accounting for 2%. Due to restrictions of language, the number of samples of target professional websites and non-target websites is limited. Meanwhile, the number of selections of strong rules is not satisfactory. Nowadays, the cores of global cyberspace security issues include internet sovereignty, cyberspace security, cyber attack, cyber crime, data leakage, and data protection.

Abstract:Association rules is one of the main research fields in data mining, and to gain the more valuable rules is a focus in this field. But most of the most current algorithms can only find out the positive-item rules and the interest measure can only be used as a filter. To solve this problem, an idea to find out the negative-item-contained rules is forword put through modification of the related definition and through the introduction of the negative itemset, based on the previous work. The algorithm based on this idea is also given. Finally, the algorithm is evaluated and analyzed through experiments and practices.

Abstract:The Apriori algorithm is one of the most well-known and widely accepted methods for the association rule mining. In Apriori, it uses a prefix tree to represent k-itemsets, generates k-itemset candidates based on the frequent (k-1)-itemsets, and determines the frequent k-itemsets by traversing the prefix tree iteratively based on the transaction records. When k is small, the execution of Apriori is very efficient. However, the execution of Apriori could be very slow when k becomes large because of the deeper recursion depth to determine the frequent k-itemsets. From the perspective of graph computing, the transaction records can be converted to a graph G(V,E), where V is the set of vertices of G that represents the transaction records and E is the set of edges of G that represents the relations among transaction records. Each k-itemset in the transaction records will have a corresponding connected component in G. The number of vertices in the corresponding connected component is the support of the k-itemset. Since the time to find the corresponding connected component of a k-itemset in G is constant for any k, the graph computing method will be very efficient if the number of k-itemsets is relatively small. Based on Apriori and graph computing techniques, a hybrid method, called Apriori and Graph Computing (ANG), is proposed to compute the frequent itemsets. Initially, ANG uses Apriori to compute the frequent k-itemsets and then switches to the graph computing method when k becomes large (where the number of k-itemset candidates is relatively small). The experimental results show that ANG outperforms both Apriori and the graph computing method for all test cases.

Abstract:Apriori algorithm can find out the associations of the data by finding the frequent itemsets by degrees. But it has the performance bottleneck when searching for the high level frequent itemsets. A new algorithm that can directly find the high level frequent itemsets is proposed in this paper. This algorithm can effectively resolve the bottleneck of Apriori. The result of the experiment shows that this algorithm can achieve better performance than Apriori and is more feasible especially when the degree of the frequent itemset is high.

Abstract:Association rules mining is one of the most popular and significant issue in data mining and intends to discovery interest relations between variables in database. In our paper, we implemented an improved parallel Apriori algorithm which realized both count and candidate generation steps under MapReduce framework, while existing parallel Apriori algorithm only considered count step. We analyzed the time complexity of our improved parallel algorithm and compared to the original parallel algorithm, which indicates advantages of our algorithm with massive candidate item sets. Based on our experiment result, we proved that our algorithm performs better under big data situation and achieves excellent speedup feature.
