Inspect Again the Relation between Internal Cause and External Cause in the Course of Modernization of China,Japan and Korea

Abstract:The realization of modernization could not be relied on the accumulation of the factors of modernity within a country,local factors of modernity could only make life cycle to circulate under the traditional frame;the nature of the course of modernization is to gather together world-wide factors of modernity and to mix them together.Since the mid-term of 19th century to the mid-term of 20th century,China,Japan and Korea represented three different types of modernization as“passive fusion type”,“active fusion type”and“compulsory fusion type”respectively.Their experiences illustrate that,the speed and the effect of the modernization of a country depend on the amount of the factors of modernity gathered together and whether or not the fusion is a smooth process.
