Abstract:China is a large agricultural country,sustainable and stable agricultural products production has a very important strategic significance for ensuring food security in China.The seed is the source of food production.With the rapid development of life sciences,biotechnological breeding has become an inevitable choice for the development of modern seed industry.This paper outlines the status of breeding technology in China and puts forward the concept of "designer breeding by molecular modules".We believe that the development construction of"innovation systems of designer breeding by molecular modules "could lead to a revolution in biotechnological breeding.
