Abstract:Nano-Mg(OH)2(N-PMH)wrapped by organic dispersant was prepared with magnesium chloride as raw materials,using ammonia as main precipitator and sodium hydroxide as assist precipitator in presence of organic dispersant.Nano-Mg(OH)2 has been treated by mixture of solvent/water.The orthogonal design was employing to investigate effects of dropping rate of precipitator,reaction time and reaction temperature on the particle size of N-PMH.The flame-retardant properties and mechanical properties of LDPE/N-PMH nanocomposite were also investigated.
